On their website is a form produced by the FSA. Fill it in, and send it off. No need for copies of paperwork or policy numbers - they will find both. Try to be as specific as possible, and don't mention multiple issues if poss. The more you mention, the more they will think you're trying it on. The kind salesperson man said that because of my credit history I HAD to take the PPI to get the loan, etc etc.

Nothing. Nothing at all. I dont specifically want to stay in mortgages, but want to stay in sales. They approached me, so they must've seen something. The skill and experience is transferable, it's just (not meant cockily) a new knowledge base to build. I openly admitted I know v little about IT or recruitment but didn't seem to be a problem. I'm looking forward to the chance to prove myself in a new sector and a massively growing and exciting company....given the chance.

Have had an interview for, and got through to the final stage, a specialist IT recruitment company in Southampton. Looking promising, but not counting any chickens just yet. Fingers crossed...!
