I enjoyed that more than the Everton win way back in November. There was pride in that performance and we got over the line (12 points). No one will remember that points total now. Psychologically that is huge for the club and us fans. Also the fans were fucking brilliant. Special mention to the ref who was the most corrupt of the season. That’s how they do it, the 50/50 fouls they lean one way. Not obvious but clear as crystal today. Fuck the Premier League.

Like I say it is great that there is a shift towards recognition and diagnosis, but beyond that NHS support is limited unless you have a co-occurring condition and fall under mental health services. It’ll be interesting to see where things are at in 5 years in relation to NHS providing support to children and adults alike. Hampshire Autism is a good service and would always recommend that to people with ASD.

Agreed with this. Well coached teams do this in an organised and disciplined manner. They also have more aggressive and athletic players. Systems well drilled like this can make otherwise ordinary players improve tenfold. Chris Wood and Ryan Christie are good examples of this. Put them in our team and they’d be crap.

I work in psychiatry and ASD / ADHD is incredibly under diagnosed in females. That said there is a huge bandwagon of Tik Tokers striving for ASD diagnosis when there is little to no evidence that is the case. The next 5-10 years should see a huge overhaul in current services available. Lots of people wait years to get a diagnosis only to then get no NHS support which is wrong, unless there is a risk of self/harm suicide, then they psychiatric services become involved with no specialist training in ASD or ADHD. What is also stupid is that most psychiatrists could diagnose these conditions, and in areas like Hampshire they are unable to, hence the several year waiting list to see a specialist service. People can use the right to choose whereby assessment will be sought privately, but private services do have a habit of diagnosing what someone is seeking.

After the disaster of this season I want to renew just to lift my spirits. We could come 13th next season and it would still be 10 times better than this season. Plus now having a little one it’s priceless time to have a few beers with the old man.

This is what has worked for us in the past and works currently works for Bournemouth and Brentford. Exactly what we should be opting for.

We need a reset up front. Archer clearly wants out. I would keep Tall Paul but wouldn’t mind if he left (for the right fee). But we desperately need a talisman up front. Pace power and athleticism (aka the new is he hungry enough). Same in midfield. We are far too powder puff which is why we’ve been found out at PL level. Same with Ipswich and Leicester. Also there is no chance we keep THB or Fernandes. I think we need to raise plenty in the summer as we are going to need 8-9 new players.

I would take Rohl. He plays a high press and that’s the way the club needs to go. He also greats a good atmosphere amongst the players. And the Wednesday fans love him. We need that vibe back at SMS. We haven’t had that since Ralph left. The only way to crack staying in the PL is to adopt an underdog approach aka Poch and Ralph in the early days. Look at Bournemouth and Brentford. And ffs invest in a centre forward, and a physically strong CDM. The squad needs an overhaul and we need powerful, athletic players.

On loan maybe or got a reduced fee. We really need to sign a CF in the summer - a mobile and physical presence. And a physically strong CDM. We’ve lacked in these areas since Broja and Romeu left. These two signings must be done correctly. I’m not including the 10 or so other signings we need.

Juric is legit worse than Martin. His man marking pressing is suicidal and the midfield is the worst in the history of this club and the PL. Wish we could forfeit this season. Oh wait players already have .

It’s hard to identify many improvements. The one to one man marking/press just doesn’t work with the players we have. He’s not the man for next seasons promotion push. Yet another managerial failure on behalf of SR.

One word to sum it all up “apathetic”

My take on outgoings is; Dibling £55m, Fernandes £35m, Ramsdale £25m, THB £25m, Aribo £5m, BBD £5m and Sugawara £6m (Total - £156m) of course it will be probably a little less than that. Correct me if I’m wrong but that is much higher than our previous outgoings after the last relegation? Incomings we desperately need to invest in our; Centre Forward Goalkeeper Winger Number 10 CDM Centre back RB So basically half a team! Unlike the previous season we need to be signing players capable of stepping up. And focusing on playing a way that will give us a chance of scrapping properly if we get promoted. Danny Rohl all the way for me. I feel pretty confident about next year so long as we get the manager situation right and adopt a high press style.

Let him progress rather than call him back to this absolute shit show of a season.

Given the dog shit on display I’d say the fans have been pretty decent. First half was a good atmosphere but it’s very hard to get going when you’ve lost 19/24 games.
