Am I the only one buzzing to see Lallana back in a Saints shirt? Albeit a horrendous pink kit.

Sam AA and Dibling have got the most potential I’ve seen since JWP. Dibling like a young Grealish and Sam AA (have we got a nickname for him yet?) like young Saka.

Tippy tappy football can be successful and I see no reason why that style can’t keep us up. But no CF and the lack of players getting in the box won’t get you anywhere. We certainly need to mix things up a bit. RM needs to be adaptable. Like Liverpool away in the cup we played well and created chances. This team can’t have both Armstrong and Diaz. One needs to make way for a winger.

Team looks like we didn’t need both Archer or Diaz. Really liking a winger. Elanga showed us exactly what we were lacking. Edozie is nowhere near good enough at this level. Still need a CF. Think I’d take Ings on loan now after that.

Couldn’t care less how he left (move on ffs!). He’s a leader, experienced and wants to do his coaching. Smart signing. Welcome back Adam.

We’ll a chance in the play offs. If it fails miserably we’ll have a new manager. If we go up I think within 10 games in the PL Martin will get found out and we get a new manager in. Brutal but what I think would genuinely happen. I like Martin, he’s been by far our best manager for a few years and we have an identity (of which we’ve lacked for ages) but I think his Achilles heel is defensively and coming up with a plan B, that’s why I think his days might be numbered. Don’t know he deserves as much stick as some give though. It’s been a mental season.

Tbh Leeds are just as bad.

Should have been 3 nil up minimum first half. Adams and Brooks with inexcusable misses. Can’t blame the manager for that. The subs have been poor. Needed to regain shape and patience.

We just gained 3 points on Leeds and Leicester and 2 points on Ipswich. 99th minute! Fucking get in.

Oh get in! Awful performance from the sounds of it but still in that mix! Too 4 all turned rubbish at the finish line!

Sit back and enjoy the play offs. This season has been far more enjoyable than the last 3 combined. If we are in the Championship next year we’ll give it another go and have to Derby games to boot. If we don’t go up approach Cooper.

What can I say I really like Martin. Defensively we might be suspect at times but the fluid passing is glorious to watch. We are clearly weak at LB and miss Downes when he is not playing. If we don’t go up this season I bet Martin takes us up next year. This season in the Championship is mental.

Got a bit of optimism back from the first 60 minutes yesterday. Granted we fluffed too many chances. 3-1 win for me provided Downes is back. Still gutted that we’ve let the top 3 escape us. This needs to be the start of a winning streak to have any chance of auto.

After the Forest game last season under Jones me and my old man had a huge argument driving back.

Huge win. Great response. Made that quite easy in the end. What a signing Brooks is going to be!

That is a statement win. No where near our best yet came out on top. Hopefully we will look back on this game come the end of the season as being vital! The never give up attitude from this team is the best I’ve seen from a Saints side. credit to Huddersfield they were excellent.

Goal difference is going to be a key factor going into the latter half of the season. We are still 3 goals worse than Leeds. Home games like this we need to be going for the throat. Not to sound arrogant at all!

Leicester have looked crap in these two Ipswich games.

Feels like either way it’s a bonus now we’ve done our bit. But Leicester win for me.

The most dominant half I’ve seen from a Saints team. Could/should be a cricket score.
