  1. Checked on trip adviser and their are no reviews from the last 2 days? Assume they have had them deleted?
  2. On the plus side. We have to win this game and Swansea only need a draw. We are the form side with a point to prove and the greatest motivation. We are also a better side under Hughes than this Swansea side are. All things being equal, we should actually win this...
  3. I will say one thing. If you feel nervy during the match, do not log onto this site!! It will be a whirpool of nerves and paranoia. Only log on here to vent your fury at our impending relegation, or rejoice at our impending survival. Anything in between.... just don't do it to yourself!!
  4. Les Reed doesn't do long term investments or good legacies. Worse than Lowe.
  5. Pretty silly tbh. This will backfire on Swansea at the end of the day. Will just focus the players' minds even more.

Have you not seen Liverpool, or do you not consider the champions league to be a title, or the premier tbf next season...Bizarre that you take issue with that. Very out of touch with most football fans. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Possibly the best ever post I've read on this forum. What is shocking is how many of our fans could not work this out for themselves. It was obvious from the way the new board blamed Cortese for anything they could, but then took credit for everything he built as it suited them. Pure PR spin from day 0 and nothing but lies to the fans. I was reading the everton match analyses and feeling sorry for saints. Then I remembered the reason we are in this mess is because Les Reed hires Puel and mopey, and then left it too late to sack him... (plus his countless other failings that have taken us from a champions league contender to relegation in 2 seasons). If we get relegated then Les reed and this board need to go down as the worst people to have ever worked for saints. They will have left us with a worse legacy than they inherited, having hamstring our potential and sold it for profits and bonuses. Lowe left us a ground and the best academy in the country. This lot have ruined the academy and sold a title challenging team to secure relegation. It is unbelievable how any fans defend them. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  8. We're in trouble here. big trouble. We have to beat Swansea. Out last game is Man City. Swansea can draw against us. Their last game is vs the worst team in the league. On top of that the players have just received a hammer blow to their morale whilst Swansea have had a huge lift. The point is irrelevant outside of that simple scenario. beat Swansea or we are down.... and Swansea know it. I think we're ****ed sadly.
  9. If you haven't noticed yet, Hughes plays safe until midway through the second half, then goes for the win if its there.
  10. This game reminds me of when Hull came to St Mary's under Silva. We were everton in that case, had nothing to play for and offered nothing. The win was there for Silva and Hull but they took the draw. They went down. I hope we go for the win!!
  11. Wow, you really can't read sarcasm very well can you Best watch my back in the real world... "A pretty d1ck move" - and you think i'm being serious. Good lord its snowflake central these days.
  12. To be fair, and whilst not phrased in the best manner, he's probably annoyed at a thread title that says a key opposition player is banned.... but isn't. A pretty **** move from the OP.

Cloud cuckoo land.... He did nothing but ride a momentum curve to make some money and hamstring the club's potential when it was at its peak. He has taken us from a champions league contender to relegation fodder in less than 2 seasons. And you are on here trying to defend him.

We'd have got smashed. As any sensible fan who watches the team knows. As was said by a few of us, that could be a very good point come the end of the season. It may not. But either way, Hughes knew we could not win that game so he took the point and hoped its enough in the long run. Anyone who thinks we could have attacked that Leicester line (at that point in time) and won the game is a complete dreamer tbh. I still think it would be hard for us to go there and better a point now, and I don't think I'd risk it as survival is in our own hands now. Beat Swansea and we really should stay up. Beat Swansea and draw with Everton/City and we will... all thanks to that Leicester point. Fail to stay up and its not even remotely Hughes' fault.
  15. If we beat Swansea we really should stay up.
  16. So I updated my original tracker to reflect results and kept the predictions for the remaining games - it results in 33 points and almost certain relegation. Originally had us on 36points as a squeaky bum time survival shot. A total that I can see us reaching now with a win over swansea and a draw against Everton. Who knows!
  17. Rumoured to be in for Celta's Sisto, would be a decent buy for us if its true. Pacy and powerful winger.
  18. There is actually a chance that Everton could send Moyes down
  19. I cashed out my relegation bet after the Cherries win. Had a strong feeling we'd win and almost did it before. The bet returned £84, and the peak cash out was £57. Settled for £40 in the end, plus put a bet on us to beat Bournemouth... not a horrendous weekend all in all The question is. Do I bet on Liverpool to win the Champions League... Another insurance bet that will cheer me up if they manage it

Well... it is discriminatory towards foreigners, and in a rather biased fashion. Its also a stupid comment since some of the key players behind that win were not English. Unless Lemina and Tadic are English surnames?!??! And against this, some of the players people have been moaning about for most on this are Forster, Bertrand and JWP... And unless I am very much mistake they all speak English as their first (and probably only) language. In fact, someone come and get me when the fans come up with a regular chant for our English players.
  21. A great result on the weekend. I must admit I went to Bristol Rovers vs Gillingham which had the nice bonus of stopping me having to sit through 90min of nail biting!! Was delighted to see the result at full time and was tense enough reading Sky Sports commentary as Macca kept pulling out the saves! One win now and we're in with a very good chance, and we've certainly put the pressure on those above us. If ourselves, Huddersfield and Stoke weren't all so complete ****, West Ham may have ended up going down!!
  22. Well £56.99 to be exact. Not that that's going to make you stop calling other posters a liar in off hand remarks.
  23. Don't really get your outrage with this tbh. Far bigger problems than attacking one of our longest serving and loyal players.
  24. I put £12 on us to go down when Palace took the lead against us. I would never normally bet against Saints, but when that goal went in i was both certain we were fecked, and furious at the club. Ultimately its a silver lining if we go down, and that looks very likely. I can cash it in for £57 now. Tempted to stick it all on Liverpool to win the CL. Again, a silver lining insurance bet.
