Thank f**k for stuart Armstrong.
-
Broja and Adams on please. At least one of them for Theo.
-
Small at least is growing into the game.
-
Will be fuming at Ralph if we lose this. Absolutely no excuse for the line up.
-
We'll be lucky if this is salvageable by half time.
-
Yeah totally. Small is looking poor in a terrible 11. Harsh on the lad to make his debut in this 11.
-
Armstrong, small, and walcott should be pulled now - unless we want the season to be over by 5pm. Ralph's made a huge error with this selection. Great now Lyanco is injured. One of the few players you could justify leaving on 🤣
-
Need to pull Small asap sadly.

I think we'll go strong. We've had 2 weeks off, anymore and the players will get rusty. Wouldn't be surprised to see the first team.

If you flat out ditched fan segregation in stadiums the issue would die out imo. But then so would much of the atmospheres - so its a trade off on what people are willing to accept as spectators. The police and stewarding also don't help as they often invite trouble. Fundamentally it all stems from dividing people into what are effectively tribal groups (similar to identity politics) imo, and it isn't unique to just Britain/England - you find the issue all over the world and indeed its far better here than many other places. What might be an interesting idea is to have a dedicated home end, a small dedicated away end. And then a general acceptance that the rest of the stadiums are unsegregated and fair game 🤷♂️ - Which isn't that different to what we have now, but might remove the incentives for nastier elements of fanbases as they're basically being encouraged/tolerated by authorities rather than treated like miscreants. Will be interesting to see what happens with SMS re development, its always been an issue here. You could for example dedicate all of Northam to the home end. Give say 1000-1500 seats in itchen corner to the away end, and then allocated the rest of any away following to general sale tickets around the rest of the stadium 🤷♂️

He's a very promising young keeper. Starting for St Etienne i believe, but west ham also rumoured to be chasing him.

The Minsk Memorial Thread (and continuation of his work)
Saint86 replied to Minsk's topic in The Saints
Very sad news Minsk. Wishing you all the best for the time you've got and ofc hoping you pull through somehow. As other have said, always enjoy reading your posts and hopefully there is many more of them to come. -
Will be pretty dumb marketing if tino and diallo don't play 😅
-
If he doesn't sign a new deal he has to go this summer (if the club's objective is to maximise profit).
-
I would thoroughly enjoy this ringing out around SMS 😅
-
Jesting aside, BFS used what was an early precursor of expected goals to analyse player positioning outside the box for freekicks and corners etc.

Two things on this. Tuchel has had dressing room problems at all his clubs. Lukaku is a dressing room problem. 🤣 I'd love is to sign broja as this great prospect for a future great prem striker - but it won't happen. If he does well for the rest of the season we'll either be priced out or Chelsea just won't sell him. If he doesn't do great then we'll probably look elsewhere...

What do the odds say? That is afterall what they indicate 😏

DT and Burn are two lower Premier league signings that belong in relegation battling defences. They haven't sorted their defence 😅. But they have sorted out their midfield somewhat and are rumoured to be getting another attacker and Henderson on loan. All of which is more than enough to make them better than watford/Burnley/Norwich, and possibly Everton and Leeds. They'll stay up now sadly. Too much to ask for one of everton/Leeds to take their place?
-
People who enjoy their job, or want the chance to develop and know they can reach even higher levels? 🤔
-
Yeah exactly this. Hopefully we use it to motivate us. They've cheated / fudged the rules - pure and simple.
-
Spot on. They're a dead club now. Also, as a fanbase - They've been crying about how much money Ashley spent, but they've had a net spend of over £120m under him and have spent circa £500m on players since he'd been in charge. Their record spend is £40m. There are plenty of clubs in the country that could only dream of that kind of outlay. What about us, Brentford, palace, leeds, norwich, west brom, forest (a bigger club imo trophy wise). Then you have how they treated Bruce, which was absolutely disgusting - and he isn't the first manager to get that treatment from them. Plus ofc, they all started wearing Saudi headgarb to celebrate the arrival of blood money from one of the most oppressive regimes on the planet, whose countless crimes range from ordering the murder and dismemberment of Khashoggi to funding/supporting the yemen civil war. League wise - There is no way that Eddie Howe and old players like trippier and wood will get them into the top 6. Which means they're pouring money down the drain re FFP. To get top 6 they have to displace one of United, City, Leicester, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham, and even teams like Wolves and hopefully ourselves. Can see their owners getting bored and putting their money into Inter Milan instead (rumoured to be buying them). https://www.sportspromedia.com/news/inter-milan-saudi-arabia-pif-takeover-suning-serie-a/ Ultimately PIF are only allowed one club in European competition and Inter would get there before Newcastle.
-
Everton have spent something lie 500m though? And they didn't one around signing players like wood or tripper with only a couple of years left in them at top level.
-
He's tactically incompetent.
