Mopey wants to play with width and crosses into the box (see spurs) etc. This guy will finish those chances. Plus we are adding in Quincy who looks at least semi tasty. On the face of it, the board appear to be acting to at least get in some much needed quality. Not sure where it leaves the trio of Boufal, Tadic and Redmond however. All have been very poor at times this season. We do need a CB though!

I fully support this move.

New Leeds United Badge is located here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5306993/Leeds-United-unveil-questionable-new-crest.html What do people think? Personally reminds me of their fan stereotype a little too well

Are you saying that given our net spend, it is no surprise where we are?
-
It wouldn't be paranoia to think that Faz. Also, are you another on the list of posters who is only able to post insulting replies... rather than respect your fellow fans and discuss the club openly?

I'm sure a lot of us still find it very frustrating that some fans blindly trust the club. We're linked to an injured striker no one particularly wants (i.e. - unlikely to set the world alight, and overpriced), and another PR drip feed that has a similar credibility to Sturridge (and less than theo). Add this to every single summer since Poch left and it doesn't paint a very good picture of our club's transfer abilities.

So still no actual news? And the club just leaking outlandish targets through our PR lapdogs. If we have no concrete incomings by this weekend I will be getting seriously worried about this board. Either back the manager, or sack him and back the new one. This indecision is probably the worst thing we can be doing! Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

At best you have let yourself down a bit with this comment. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Saints dismissed him in the summer. Not enough experience, and already employed. Strangely we go for established and experienced coaches rather than up and coming. He was possibly my preferred choice after Touchel.... Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Fair enough. The bad one for me was the palace game. The team is/was lacking confidence but I see that improving in recent matches. I think we'll beat watford and Brighton and things will kick on from there; especially if the fans keep backing the team rather than trying to create a toxic atmosphere.(We obviously need some signings (CF and CB). Here is hoping I'm right anyway! Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

So, any news? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

I think we'll beat Brighton though In truth, he may not get the chance and the board may actually act !! But I am not sure that Koeman or Silva are the answer. Both will be joining us after dreaming of bigger things and failing. Both have had terrible runs this season and in previous prem seasons, and both (although primarily silva) play hoof ball... Not really great choices. I'd personally give the manager the tools he actually needs for his style of football (rather than weak keeper, defence and attack), and see how he does. He's had to rely on stephens and yoshi for most of the season, no Austin, an out of form gabbi and long, out of form tadic (better latley tbf) / boufal / redmond, and an injured lemina. Even that tottenham game was point in case. We had three 6yard side foot chances all missed, and we let Tottenham score with one of their only two shots on target - which was a free header for the world's most in form striker... These are direct player errors. It feels a bit like Adkins' prem season, where the squad just let us down at the start.

What is interesting, is that from Alwight's entire post history (well i quickly skimmed back to 2015), there isn't a single in the know snippet... and some weird claim that we were going to sign Bitton.
-
I don't disagree with that. Just highlighting that are form has flattened out. May go up or down from here. But it was all down before this. Personally think its a valid comment and a potential ray of sunshine breaking through the clouds. I still maintain that I like MoPey and I hope he turns it around. But if we are still scraping to survive by the end of the season (or worse), then I will certainly concede he should go. I just think we'll pick up.

The team has started to improve based on recent performances and results. I think people are too negative to see it at the present. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Why the need for such a sarcastic comment? In the context of team results, form, and improvements, that watford game was a "win".... just came down to an awful refereeing decision.
-
I actually think the manager might learn and come good. The question is... will he be given enough time, and the right backing. Unpopular view I know. But his football is certainly better than his predecessor's, and in reality he has now drawn with united and spurs, and beaten watford and Fulham. Not horrendous from his last 5games, but palace was still poor. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Don't waste your time on whelk. I am with you in thinking we should aim to do a lot better than Silva. But if he comes he comes. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

No. But he might be a pompey fan.

Good of you to share such trusted information.

Is targetts agent the same lot as reed's son's?

Pay per view will be worth more.

Having spent the past 2-3 years moaning about Les, the board, and our complete change in ambition. If that is true, i'm probably on some kind of blacklist at this point It's good if they do monitor fan boards though. I'd rather the club's management monitor fan's opinions that remain completely oblivious to them. I thought it was telling the summer we sold Chambers and everything really started to kick off, they put a hold on more deals at that point.
