  1. He was rumoured to be on 12k/week. With a fee of £22m. The damage is done regardless.
  2. Sadly it has become very very difficult to discuss opposing views in today's politics. People just result to insults.
  3. I thought the results made a very good case for not having a second referendum. It was clear that we have to extreme and irreconcilable views - anyone who wanted a second ref gave their vote to liberals/greens/change Uk / Plaid, or SNP. Yet that vote share was about equal to the no deal brexit vote. In the middle you've got the remaining tory and labour voters who just want this whole thing dealt with so we can move on and govern the rest of the country. Labour are in serious trouble, they can't afford to go for a second referendum because they will be annihilated up north as a result, and equally, it will not now distinguish them from the liberals or greens. Round of a applause to Jezza there. God knows what will happen to the tories. And if we have a second referendum, then scotland has a second referendum and leaves... at which point, the vast majority of the england and wales supports either brexit or no deal brexit. Also very clear that failure to deliver brexit (or go back on it altogether) puts farage in No.10 with a massive majority. A right fine mess. Best deliver a brexit deal and move on whilst their is still a parliamentary term that can be used for other things....!!
  4. yes, but could you hear the screams?
  5. You know damn well we were all labelled bed wetters...
  6. Have I missed something that has recently happened to trigger this particular thread?
  7. Does the job, cheers.
  8. Can't find any working streams for this?
  9. Terrible what has happened in Sri Lanka, completely out of the blue as well. Almost feel like it is being done to hurt the economy with easter as an excuse. There has not been much previous history of violence aimed specifically at Christians. Absolutely abhorrent and one of the worst terror attacks of recent times.
  10. Being reported in the Fail that we're in for him to support Wilson. Done a pretty poor job at Everton, and before that he was at now relegated Sunderland. Not inspired by this... 11. If Cardiff can get 7 points, they will stay up. I would personally be happy with Brighton or Cardiff going down. Cardiff are a scummy club and have acted appallingly over the very tragic events of January (and not for the first time). Brighton because they play terrible football and are a club along the South coast which I think should only see us in the top flight. Picking the two, I'd have Brighton to go down this year. Cardiff will be certs for relegation next year anyway
  12. See no reason to update this post from the 12th Feb.
  13. Obviously not...
  14. He is very unlucky. Crap like Rice, Barkley and Odoi getting game time against a league 1 team. The media will now jizz themselves over a poor england performance and JWP will have got the message - leave saints to get england caps.
  15. The Les Reed school of management...
  16. Bizzare why people consistently want to go after our best players - same thing happened with Tadic and others. It's just as likely (if not more) that if Voskins is good enough, Target will get shipped out... People need to remember that we have/had a squad of decent attacking players that were horfficialy mismanaged by the terrible Poo-el, Mope and Hughes. Imagine if they'd been here under a manager that knows how to attack rather than sideways pass.
  17. The guardian showed in the last week 57% don't support a second referendum (on any deal or remain) and that a staggering 43% want no deal.... I think there is only a mandate for leaving. If their is a second referendum the only acceptable question will be hard brexit / soft brexit (not remain). And the longer it goes on the worse the hardcore "no deal" vote will get. Are people not understanding that if this political class could have won a second referendum they would have called it already!
  18. Here is one for you all, given where we are with regards to the 52/48 ref results and political quagmire: Would you rather have no deal Brexit or May's Brexit? Ultimately, unless a better deal comes along, that is a likely choice to be made by the end of the extension.
  19. I have quite a blunt stance on this. If it isn't said negatively then it isn't racist. With the exception of words that can only carry one meaning. Someone imitating / laughing at the mass murder and gassing of a particular group of people (i.e. holocaust in this case) is a total sicko and should be locked up and punished severely. Obviously unacceptable and there is no place for that in our society. Just like there is no place for JC's / Momentum's anti semetic Labour in our democracy. But what do I know, I'm only 32 and probably far behind modern day snowflake etiquette.
  20. The next vote is for no deal on March 29th, not no deal full stop. We won't be allowed to extend past the european elections as they fear they will lose control of the EU parliament to the right (our government is to weak to use that / no deal as bargaining chips). Total farce. There was never any intention of delivering Brexit, that much is clear. What is disgusting is that they have wasted 3 years of everyone's time (and no doubt negatively impacted a lot of people's lives) all so they can cause enough uncertainty/fatigue to get out of the whole thing. Either way, democracy is dead in the UK. But then that is what the west wants for all its citizens... even better if they can be marched along celebrating it like a victory... and even better if they can use the worlds longest standing democracy as the ultimate demonstration of happy subservience.
  21. I don't believe a word of it. MPs actually stand up for what their constituents wanted? And backing a no deal Brexit without whips backing it? Can't be true. The only way we get a deal (end) soon is if the Labour mp's ignore jezza and back may's worthless peice of paper. The day Parliament shows a back bone on Brexit is the day I'll eat my hat.
  22. Offer no protection to players and retrospectively ban them - excessively.
  23. I think what you are saying... Is that a lot of saintsweb members have the talent recognition skills of mark Hughes?
