  1. They can all walk home for all i care.
  2. Cricket score coming up. Record Premier League defeat. Players are a disgrace today. No effort, no tackles, no pressing. Their heads were down before kick off. Hughes also to blame for picking a team this disinterested..
  3. We look ****e.
  4. Chin up lads. We'll either get a result or play well and ultimately fail. I predict a happy forum at 5pm.
  5. Pure BS... and you know it.
  6. Nothing else has worked in the past 2 years I think our fans want him to be this above average all rounder, getting stuck in, box to box, popping up scoring goals and then back making last minute slide tackles the next. That will never be JWP, hes a technical player whose role is to feed and support the front men, get balls in the box, and pop up on the D from deep. If we're not going to use him like that then he is going to look very average.
  7. I wonder how many club plants / Reedists will be out to defend him, discredit the data, and/or attack the dissenters. Simple fact is that whether the figures are/aren't up to date, or we're a couple of positions out... our strategy (if there is one) has been executed horrendously.
  8. He has a place. Its as a wide man on central midfield playmaker. His crossing and dead ball delivery is superb, and he is actually a player that gets his head up to make a pass. He isn't a shining light at anything else, but at those two elements he is very very good. But in previous years we had progressive managers that focused on player movement and a target man up front. Since then we've been static (and no surprise the goals have dried up). Verses Newcastle we looked so much sharper with him and gabbi both playing... yet these are two players that will hardly get a look in under our current playstyle. I would be starting JWP and have Gabbi and Ings up front. Every game. And change our style to be more attacking with more players in the final 3rd... Fits the style of all 3 players. It really is laughable how bad we are at the moment, we are playing so far within ourselves it hurts.
  9. Makes a mockery of the club. Reed out.
  10. Very clearly states that you are picking them at their peak playing for saints.
  11. 1.) Our defence is poor, so clearly one of Toby or VVD for me. I think I would actually pick Toby as he martialed the defence superbly and has more about his all round game than athleticism. He also never lost interest with saints. 2.) Our midfield and attack are not generating enough goals. Queue the greatest player to ever feature in the red and white - Le Tissier 3.) Mane - Utterly unplayable on his day, and for me one of the best wingers in world football. 4.) No. 4 is a tough one with so many to chose from. But the best of the rest is between Channon, Lambert, and Keegan. - Given our current strikeforce issues, I think I would pick Channon.
  12. What we need is passing creativity in the midfield, someone who can place a cross, pass or set piece into the right area. Then what we need is a striker who can get on the end of it. Unfortunately Hughes doesn't rate or recognise Gabbi and JWP, and despite them coming on an instantly making us more threatening vs Newcastle, it will be another month before we see them on the pitch together again
  13. Reporting as they have all died now. Terrible.
  14. Was a total bar-steward to Le Tissier but I wish him a speedy recovery. The chap making bad taste karma jokes.... Sick.
  15. 89Min - JWP hits a cracking diagonal cross field ball in behind the defence. Gabbi does spins on the ball and beats the man, feeds the wide man. Wide man wips in a cross with long given all the time to shoot from the D - hits it wide. Southampton's best move on the match. And you just know JWP and Gabbi will have to wait another 6games to be on the pitch together at the same time again...
  16. You're annoyed if we're relegated because you don't get to Tottenham's home ground?

  18. All streams have stopped?
  19. Hard to argue with this 77. I see no prospect of things changing under this management, instead it will just be more of the same until we go down. If by some fluke we have a good season it just means our assets can be sold off for more. It really is depressing. I am glad that the fan base is realising now on mass exactly how we are run and where the blame lies. I expect us to have a fall from grace at least as bad as last time, yet strangely I don't fear it as we've been down that road before and i actually want us to get to rock bottom as quickly as possible so we can clear out the serpents at the top and move forward again, hopefully with a young team of academy players, attacking football, and an owner that cares. I have no interest currently in paying anymore money into the board or the owner's pockets, and I know more and more fans who feel the same.
  20. As fans, need to start protesting against the board and the ownership. It is key to not turn on the players however. Unfortunately we should also enjoy the times that we have now... there are some dark days ahead.
  21. The UK is unavoidably in for some painful years now. The whole process has been dreadfully mismanaged and undermined by remain supporters who could never back it fully, let alone negotiate it. This all but ensures a bad compromise deal that nobody wanted, and has led to two years of a hamstrung economy, as well as multiple key domestic issues being ignored and an almost certain chance of JC government before summer 2019. Which by they way is the thing that everyone should be worried about.... A far left socialist party that will bankrupt the country, actively pursue policies that will damage the job market, and look to limit press freedoms, democracy and racial tolerance. Brexit is small fry against the backdrop of a JC/JM premiership.
  22. Its easy to say that when we're ****e, and have a board that don't care about anything but their back pockets.... But I bet you didn't say that under Adkins, Poch or Koeman... In fact, I bet you didn't say that under Cortese before these current charlatans came in... The problem at this club is the board. I would take relegation and administration if it was the only way to get rid of them and start again... I despise what they have done to a club that was pushing to be an established European qualification contender.
  23. It was obvious the summer Cortese went. But many fans didn't, or didn't want to see it.

    Cedric

Redmond and Danny did okay as well... Certainly tried.
  25. Next home game is on the 27th and follows the Bompey humiliation to come. Surely time to organise a fan protest at the board - And it needs to be at the board only. Anything else will create a toxic atmosphere and damage the team. And ffs, stop paying these charlatans money.
