Its probably because we're an awful team to play against, and our style of football is very arrogant. Let's not kid ourselves, our style of football is only good to watch if the opposition are stupid enough to give us goals or we really turn it on - last time out, Blackburn were absolutely terrible for example. If the oppo are disciplined (ala Coventry / Watford), the game turns into an absolute snore fest where we pass the ball along between the cdm and the defence for most of our "possession"... And we maybe sneak a win late on because we've got prem level players (on the bench as well) who are fitter and better (than the championship plodders we're playing), and because we'll have literally passed the opposition to death by the end of the game 😂. I mean, our own fans get irate at us, I can't imagine how bad it is as an opposition fan.... 🤮 They come to watch a football game, and then their side barely touch the ball in our defensive 3rd and they have to watch us play crab football for 50% of the match before we generally score the odd goal 😂🤣. I used to hate watching Barcelona for exactly the same reasons (and they had some sensation players)... They'd never give the opposition the ball, and they'd just pass pass pass their way around the pitch whilst you waited for the inevitable goal - hardly seemed fair - it's not really a contest when your side can't get the ball 😅.

Sods law is they'll beat leeds and draw with leicester - doing us bugger all favours really. Right now, all we really need, is for them to just drop points and have the pressure of teams breathing down their necks - for this reason i'd take leeds beating them all day long. They've got a far smaller squad and the busy winter period is coming. We're clearly going to make play offs as a minimum and will just keep grinding out points - If ispwich can drop points in both the next two games we really should be catching them by the end of the season. Pompey are going up - i do not want to be in this league playing them with Russball at kraP nottarF next season 🤮.

tbf, our final 3rd end product has been poor due to sloppy play. Manning, Stu have made a number of poor passes when a relatively easy pass was on, and AA hasn't quite got his shooting boots on. With better player performances this would be 2-0. But yes, we are boring to watch. Can't argue. And when we aren't perfect, we drop points. Draws won't get us promoted.

Manning's passing has been woeful so far, has to be said. Stopped attacks or put us under real pressure a couple of times.

Blame absolutely on the mananger for another poor performance. The goal is automatic promotion, and be expects to win every game 1-0 with a perfect defence where the opposition never score. Has to be pushing on and getting a 2nd... We just aren't doing enough and a these dropped points will cost us.
