Wanyama's arrival is not so imminent it would seem....... Posted 10 minutes ago https://twitter.com/celticfc/status/354190446978813952/photo/1

DeMichellis is a quality CB. Was playing CL football last season, so no one can doubt his ability. Great experience at 32. Would be quite a coup on a free transfer IMO. -

Wanyama is not in the match day squad today. But like you said OLallana, he has only been there for a few days.

Fran Alonso. Technical coach and Gaston's translator. -
Where's the VMAN and k.billy supersound when you need some inside info?
-
Wanyama is Kenyan, so an overseas player.

You said the Wanyama deal is dead.... And Pochettino said it isn't. I hope your right about Damiao though. -
Very similar to Gaston's deal this one. We have gone after the agent first before the club it seems. Although Internacional want €25m, i'm sure if Cortese offered something like €20m plus add ons, they would probably accept.

Millwall or Wolves (Kenny Jackett now manager) I thought. -
Written by Saint Armstrong. Well written.

Sure do now! I would like to change it but don't know how. I'm out of posts now aswell. You don't have to justify his credentials to me, i'm not the chairman. I don't think, judging by our recent signings and transfer targets, that he fits the mould. -

I'm not dismissing him as a poor player because he is a proven PL goalscorer, but at 29, I just can't see Cortese looking at Bent. -

Bent is 29 though. If we want to sign 29 year olds, then Fred is the man. -
23, will be 24 in July

We could do alot better but also alot worse than Bendtner. If he is cheap, then he may chip in with a few goals. -
The goalkeeper shirts look really nice, especially the away one. Away kit looks smart, home is boring.
-
Sounds excellent and compared to Garay at Benfica. At £2.5M, it could be a sensible gamble to add top competition at the back.
-
I think he is a great player but after this whole episode over the transfer and agent fees, I say let him stay at Celtic. If we are willing to pay £12M for a central midfielder then that is great news. There are plenty out there with greater pedigree than Victor available for similar amounts and I'm sure Cortese is exploring those avenues. Money can be spent elsewhere on somebody with a greater desire to play PL football rather than demanding huge agent fees.
-
What I don't understand is why he is in Kenya. He is still contracted to Celtic so should surely be back in Scotland and in pre season training with them again. His 'loyalty' to the club isn't quite apparent for all to see...

Nice positive article from the Mirror about our latest transfer targets, as well as adding nothing new: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-transfer-news-southampton-suffer-1984923? -
Tweet from an African journalist who is apparently very close to Wanyama. She is replying to a question about the story in the scottish press which said Wanyama flew to England yesterday.
-
I honestly don't think any of these journalists really know what is going on and are just making it up.
