Nothing forcing him too. Plenty of people way better off are far more greedy and rapacious. Bono for example is a billionaire, and yet sits on his ivory tower lecturing the rest of us. Just applaud the guy for a good gesture.

Katharine Jenkins. They were having it off last year. LAD.

really?

For about 3/4 years, Beckham was the England team. Dragged it by the scruff of the neck. The current team could do with someone similar. Seems Terry/Gerrard have never been quite capable of this.

There was the story of a guy who got a flat tyre on an A road (i think) couple of years ago, with his kids in the back of the car. A bentley pulled up in front of him, out stepped Becks, who helped him change his tyre. Then chatted to the kids, posed for pictures, and signed loads of stuff before apologising that he had to head off. Unsurprisingly, the guys parting words were "I love you Beckham". I'm just going to admit it, I would, absolutely no shame.

In recent months Guly has shown he is adequate (not exceptional) cover. Ward-Prowse is a nipper, but didn't look massively out of his depth in a team struggling (worth remembering the games he was playing was City away, utd, Arsenal etc). can't for the life of me understand the slating J-Rod gets. Easily a prem player.

Such a lad.
-
Moving to Stoke makes this look very likely.
-
In general terms. Our starting XI at the end of last season would be Davis, Fraser, Jose, Jos, Fox, Guly/Punch, Morgan, Cork, Lallana, Rickie, Sharp. Now: Boruc, Clyne, Jose (Maybe soon Forren), Yoshi, Shaw, Morgan, Cork, Punch, Gaston, Lallana, Rickie. Obviously there are bound to be differences depending on given games, but I make that 4/5 changes.
-
Decent haul.
-
No, no-one has a problem with common sense. It's just you have none. You still haven't answered by the way. Is 4/5 changes to the first XI not change or transition?
-
Are you blind or just plain stupid? As you have managed to ignore the main part of my post. Answer this, how is changing 4/5 members of the starting XI not transition?
-
We shoulda got Arry back in November. Cortese out FFS.
-
So changing the manager isn't change then? It clearly is still happening isn't it. Look at the first XI from the end of last season. Davis, Fraser, Jos, Fox, Chaplow, Hammond, Sharp were all first team starters. But nah, nothing at all has changed has it? Is the concept of change really all that FORREN to you? (don't think I forgot him either). You really make this too easy Bazza.
-
the lad has good potential no doubt. But half a season in the Champ is probably not enough to claim he will be one of the best. One only needs to look at Richard Wright, Chris Kirkland or Scott Carson to realise this. Funny how less football is enough to write off Gazza though?
-
I think anyone with half a braincell can work out that the club aren't going to go from League One to CL without a period of transition. There are several stages to get through first. Tit.

How people call the summer window a failure I just cannot comprehend. Clyne is clearly one of the best young Full-Backs in the country. In the u-21 squad, and only a couple of weeks ago Chelsea fans were drooling all over him. Yoshi looks an absolute snip at the £2-3m we paid for him. Only the summer before Leicester paid £6m for Matt Mills, and blackburn paid similar for Dann - money well spent? Davis at under £1m is alright business - yeah, he isn't going to set the world alight, but is a fine squad player (isn't that what all you lot stamping your feet about transfers want? Players for off the bench?) Ramirez clearly a class act, nuff said. Mayuka yeah ok clearly an odd one. But he hasn't had much of a chance just yet, and clearly has some pedigree. Let's not forget Boruc too took sometime to be ready for the first XI, and he's looking solid now. Also, maybe be a victim of our system, or perhaps there were some doubts about Lamberts ability to adjust to the Prem so quickly. Calling it an awful window when we clearly strengthened in key areas is either stupidity, ignorance, or just sheer WUMmery.

Nah, Barry already proved on another thread that despite time passing, things NEVER change.
-
I doubted Boruc, but his recent form has been very good. I still cannot begin to work out how he kept out that header from RVP last night.
-
Writing off a keeper for 2 mistakes whilst still in his early 20s is just ridiculous. Luckily, you aren't a football manager.

Someone is having some fun over at HMV today. Clearly it's sad, but quite funny to read: hmv @hmvtweets ...and those hard working individuals, who wanted to make hmv great again, have mostly been fired, there seemed no other choice. Expand Reply Retweet Favorite More 2m hmv @hmvtweets Under usual circumstances, we'd never dare do such a thing as this. However, when the company you dearly love is being ruined... There were more, but they seem to have 'vanished'

I said I didn't like or agree with that decision. I felt if that change was going to be made, I feel summer would have been better. I saw enough from Adkins, and the team under his leadership to believe he could keep us up.

Errrm, You are clearly being a tad dramatic here. I am not now, nor would I ever make that sort of link. If you are going to single me out for the use of the word mong, then you are proving exactly how deep your head is in the sand, and how blind you are to other posts on here. It doesn't take a great deal of intelligence to realise that mong, has seeped into the populations vernacular, with a different meaning. This is hardly the first time in history this has happened, is it?

I've not said every poster. But, there clearly are posters that just want signings, no matter what. It's pretty obvious to see.
