Wow, Really? The furore of hype around them is built pretty much on their live shows. I've seen them twice and thought they were brilliant both times. Off night, or just not your bag?

Not too sure RE: injuries. I do fell that on transfer it might be 'company policy', as it were. I seem to recall some quotes from higher management along the lines of, we will do our business in private. Which personally, I am all for. Regarding injuries, I'm not all that fussed. It seems to really get under people's skins if they are not told the exact date that their favourite players are coming back (grown men this is), which I don't really understand. Then again, people also seem to want to know every detail about transfers, and perceive a black out (which seems common sense to me) as a lack of activity. For most normal people, buying a house will be their most expensive purchase. If someone else was also trying to buy the same house, how likely would you be to publicise exactly what you are doing to try and purchase said house? Slightly weak example, but I think it stands to reason really. Ninnies will be ninnes, I guess.

Just wait until May 20th when we STILL HAVENT SIGNED ANYONE(!!!!!!!! :x:x:x:x ) for the windowly (a new term I just coined - like annually, but referring to transfer windows) Alpine toys out the pram, foot-stamping and bed-wetting. I WANT MORE PLAYERS NOW!!!

Would still like to see the guy get a decent crack of the whip. I thought he looked decent when he first came in this time last year. Nasty injury & a big jump in quality won't have helped him settle, as let's face it that is what he was still doing. If not, moving on would probably suit all parties involved. Shame though.

Mayuka has hardly played, it's unfair to make too much judgement on the worlds 85th best player just yet. J-Rod is improving, and looking useful and direct (something we lack at times). Davis too is getting better, though his inconsistency is frustrating. Also, we have won 5 of 6 games against the teams below us in the league. Hardly a couple of good results against big clubs. Although, draws with Chelsea, Arsenal & Everton really do show how much trouble we are in. The latter two, we were also missing Fonte & Lallana. But yeah, we can't handle injuries to key players.

I liked the guy. Thought he did a decent job, and can't fault the guy's effort. Enjoyed the "Jesus, give us a wave" chant.

I suppose I am one of these suck up everything the club is shovelling types? I too have been unhappy about things the club has done. I was, and still am, extremely upset about Adkins. As we discussed previously, I felt he was a good manager, doing a good job, and would have kept us up. I still think the timing of the change was a risk, and think if that change was going to be made, the summer would have been a better time. However, I still believe there are three teams worse than us. I notice we now have 13 players good enough. Not so long ago that number was probably half of that. So at least the squad is moving in the right direction

Or people to be so consistently wrong, about everything, yet still bang on about the same old crap. Not so long ago you wanted a new manager, claiming Adkins was out of his depth & tactically inept. You wanted a new keeper, and Boruc sorting his life out is effectively signing a new keeper. You wanted defensive reinforcements, we have a new centre back. You also said come January we would be too far adrift to make any improvements to keep us up. How's that prediction gone for you? Do you ever get bored of being so wrong ALL THE TIME?!

Meh not really fussed. Have said on one of the many threads on a similar theme that I still think we will sign one more, based on little more than a hunch (not remotely ITK). Was worried bout GK, but Boruc seems to have sorted out whatever the issue there was. Forren I think will be a good addition. Other than that, I don't see the point in signing players for the sake of keeping those who like to get red in the face, stamp their feet and soak their pampers about a lack of transfer activity. The team is showing it is good enough for the Prem, signings should improve the squad, not simply make up the numbers Don't believe there was ever much chance of us selling anyone other than obvious fringe players. In short, I wouldn't throw the fit some on here will if no-one else comes in.

Recent up turn in form has probably lessened the need to go out and panic buy. Players coming back from injury will help. Would still think at least one more is likely to come in. Not based on anything other than gut feeling though, so could be way off the mark.

Commutes from the edge of London to Central aren't all that fun either. TFL are a bunch of useless cVnts. Though I best be careful before I'm too critical, Bazza will tell me off again.

I'm sure Stoke would have something to say about us being above them. Established Prem team that haven't looked remotely close to going down, well the entire time they have been up, what's that 6-7 years now? And an FA Cup Final year before last.
