Has done well since he’s come into the team, comes for crosses and gets down for low shots 163262 times faster than Forster. IMO, instilled some confidence at the back so we have one less problem position to worry about. Wonder where we might be on the table now if Forster had been dropped earlier. Thoughts for next season, sell Forster and bring in a new keeper (tough on the length of contract Forster has remaining)? Trust in Alex as first choice next season (Just feel he’s not quite good enough as first choice, may be proven wrong)? Somehow miraculously cure Forster from his massive dip in confidence this season (Very tough especially for keepers once they’re dropped, Joe Hart never really reached the levels he was at Man City once he was dropped and subsequently moved on)?

I would love to see a team of mostly academy graduates play in the championship. Gives us a chance to refresh the squad as well, we are starting to see the team being filled with overpaid foreign dross after our European adventures. I think that’s one positive as a result of this nightmare season.
