What a performance, the entire team looked in sync and willing to fight for each other. We are harrying opposing players and piling forward during a counter. This team is starting to look like the team of the first half of last season. Pelle in particular has stepped up another level this season in my opinion. His chest down of balls have become such a potent supporting weapon in our arsenal. Mane was being Mane as usual. Tadic is back to his effective self. Dare I say, even JWP looks a decent player this season. And VVD, I could be wrong but he won all his headers this evening! Good way to go into the international break with a win but, with the form we are currently in, I almost don't want this break to happen!

What a player. Let's be honest with ourselves, how long can we hold on to a player like him? I'll be a bit worried about the Jan transfer window but have conceded that it is almost inevitable he'll be at a top top club next season.

If we do go for another CB as first choice partner to Fonte, is Caulker or yoshida going to be third choice? I can't imagine he would be satisfied coming here as fourth choice, even if only on loan.

Think you'll be in the minority with that view. They've finally got the top keeper they desperately needed in Cech, they will be challenging for the title in a four horse race involving Chelsea and both Manchester clubs. Pool and spurs will be 'in transition' as usual

Would benefit him more than it would benefit us. He would be able to continue his progression after having stalled a bit with Arsenal last season. On the other hand, there is no chance of us landing him permanently at the end of the season, so we would just be helping Arsenal develop their player. He decided to make the move early, and whether he now realises it was 1-2 seasons too early, it is none of our business. No deal.
