You sound just like some guys I work with in Brisbane who are saying exactly the same about Kevin Rudd (Aussie PM) who has only been in power for 12 months. He obviously could have completely protected the Aus economy from the GLOBAL financial mess. This is a party which has continuously made requests based on the Freedom of Information Act, yet (with the exception of the leadership) don't have the balls to stand up and declare "I am a member of the British Nationalist Party and I'm proud of it" and is now shuddering from an ill-executed (and easily preventable) "leak". Nick, you clearly want or feel the need to defend Lowe - as is your right. But, I was told, by Harry Redknapp before he was our manager, that Gordon Strachan was getting very, very fed up with Lowe trying to influence team selections and which players to buy. Why would he tell me this if it was a lie? At that time he was manager of CHAMPIONSHIP team Portsmouth and had NO axe to grind as far as Lowe was concerned. There is a lot more to this than meets the eye and that you appear to be willing to accept.

Having a degree helps, but you need real world skills and professional qualifications to score the points needed to get a permanent residnecy visa. You could also look at a 457 visa, essentially an employer sponsored visa, to get you in and then go for residency when you are here.
