Excellent vid. Cheers, mate.

Well done Hudds as, if you take the season as a whole, they do deserve to go up. But commiserations to the Cherries as losing a penalty shoot-out is no decent way to lose a game (of football).

Never thought I'd cry. Call me plastic if you want as I only saw 10 Saints games or so over the last 30 years, but believe me I'm hooked on this football club and I'm proud to wear the shirt. COYR! -

Bournemouth 1 - 3 Saints - Post Match Reaction

brilliant result, even more so with so many games in hand -
Couldn't agree more, Duncan. It will be an excellent indicator of where Saints stand and where they can get on from here, it will turn the limelights on the club and it's the perfect mix between an away "fun" tie no-one expects you to win and a home tie after which you can bow out after a gallant display.
-
What would be your favourite option? A winnable home tie (possibly "giant-killing") or a luxury away day to a top Prem side, including TV money for the club, where Saints would produce a gallant effort, go out and then concentrate on the league? I'd go for one more home game.

Brilliant! -
No R5L available abroad ("due to rights restrictions, this section of the programme blah blah blah"). Can only rely on you and BBC text to follow the game. I love it. What strikes me from BBC stats is that Blackpool haven't had a single effort on target yet. COYR!

don't we have a roger on the teamsheet?
-
Got the score right and got the scorers in the right order. € 15 got me a nice € 350 at the local bookies. Took the lady to the flicks and restaurant. What a lovely Saturday!

Overseas saints what other teams do you follow?
Belgiansaint replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
Standard Liège (was born close to the stadium) and Mons (Belgian div. 2) where I've been living since 1982. Also a very soft spot for Lausanne Sport - got many friends there - who went bankrupt a few years ago but are on the up again, even reaching the group stages in this year's Europa League (runner-up in Swiss cup last season). They are a pleasure to watch this season. -
Couldn't register online because of some details on the registration form which simply don't apply here. I rang the club and placed a phone order and the staff were just brilliant. I'm delighted.

Markus Liebherr RIP. All tributes here please.

Just stunned. RIP Mr. Liebherr. Thank you for allowing me to cheer my favourite football club after it was in so much trouble. Fans very often speak about players gracing the pitch. Although you were at Southampton FC for a very brief spell only, may I say I feel very few people graced the boardroom like you did. -

The fee is believed to be around €3.25 m (£ 2.76 m).
-
According to reports in the Belgian press, Saints are to receive between 10 and 15 % of the transfer fee.

He had a really awesome season (makes me sick to say this as I hate Anderlecht) here with something like 3 goals and approx 5/6 assists. No bad stats for a full-back. He also regained his spot in the national side. I think he's a totally different player to the one we knew at Saints. Grown man type of thing.

definitely wolves. he said so himself in the belgian press.
