I agree but I also think it´s harder to find suitable foreign players for the lower leagues we´ve been in so for me it has only really been two available transfer windows to make any conclusion from. Though, Guly was a good signing IMO for that level we were in then. I also think Yoshida and Boruc can be considered good signings but overall it´s the english ones that has been most succesful these years, but for different reasons IMO.

I think I´m mostly impressed that fans on here would know more about how the Liebherr´s will react than what Cortese does after working for them for I-dont-know-how-many-years.....

Yep I have no dedication as a fan, choosing to support a team a few thousand miles away for 30+ years.... Travelling over about 6-8 times a season to watch games last 10 yrs...... Some of us aren´t blessed to be living in a the right place and supporting the hometown team....

It´s not about market value. It´s about what he is worth to us as a seller. Do we need money more than the player.... Are we sure we can replace him with another player and get the same quality that he gives us.... Every no increases the price...

I was trying to make my opinion on him from the point of view if he was a succesful signing or not. Not if he was a great player or not, therefore I said the he could´ve been a smashing success but I still think 17 games are too few to get that description as a signing. That´s from my perspective and what I know to make that opinion. For the record even though I´m a swede I´ve never rated Anders Svensson as high as other did. For me he shows more than he delivers but I know that other think he is/was a great player for us.
