I´ve only been here since late july But then you deserve some credit. Capel is a good shout but £4m seems low for a player with 3yrs left on his contract, but if he goes for that type om money he is definitely a good shout.

It would be wrong to get rid of Gaston from so many point of views. 1. Talent like that is not easy to find. 2. It´s not good to show players we want to sign that if they dont perform great the first year we want to get rid of them. 3. It´s very likely that he will improve significant and I think MP knows what kind of players he need around him to be a real force in this league, some pacey wingers for example... And just to compare, Kagawa in Man U had 20 games, 6 goals 4 assist. Not much better than Gaston and that´s playing for the Champions....

Wouldn´t have helped QPR though unless they would´ve won the "right" games. If they get up to 37 beating Wigan, Reading, Everton, West Brom for example they would still go down...

An advice people. If you want to put the season in three parts, start middle and finish you should be aware that games against Chelsea and Liverpool belong to the finishing part of the season.

Well, finishing 14 with one win in first 10 games and no win in last 6. If you´ve had predicted that one before the start of the season you would be a very rich guy now.... All in all, I would call it a very very promising season and a fantastic foundation to build on.

Do I think we will finish 4th next season, no I dont. But I dont see any problem with aiming so high. I think one of the reason why West Brom has declined the second half of the season is because they went into the season with the goal to get to 40 points as soon as possible and as soon they were pretty much there they started to decline and much of that is because of mentality I believe.
