Just seen on sky sports app that Joleon Lescott fears for his chance of a World Cup place due to lack of game time, I for one would snap him up, but for no more than 4 - 5 million and around 40k a week. seems serious about a move and I know Everton connection but would be just what we need IMO. Thoughts ?

Before I have no ass left I'd like to point out that I too believe we are safe although I think we will need 40 points to be sure, I was simply pointing out that a couple of wins for all teams below us and a couple of our games resulting in defeats could land is right in it, we never do things the easy way after all.

IMO its a matter of bravery and commitment, you are always tought (by good coaches) that if you go in for a challenge go in 100% (like jay rod did) or you will get hurt, if the keeper hadn't of bottled it he would of prob stopped the shot, it looked worse than it was. I say fair play to the keeper for not making a meal of it and rolling around like a fool, then the goal might not of stood and jay rod could of been shown the red.

This, apart from the easy run in entry, yes the best run in out of teams around us, no because there's no easy games in the PL, I think if we beat Reading on Sat then a couple of draws will be enough.

I'd take samba, remy and poss jenas, all on lowish wages though and 2 year deals.
