FWIW, Joe has been proved absolutely correct in his assessment of the PST and it's leadership.

I vaguely know couple of the guys who are on the board of fan-owned AFC Rushden and Diamonds (who play in the United Counties League, at the Dog and Duck stadium) and I swear they are more professional than tinpotpompey.

Edit - as for the swearing, the solution is to mic the refs up so that all the swearing could be clearly heard. Substitutions - as soon as play has stopped after you've indicated you want to make a sub you're given 30 seconds for it be completed. If not, play restarts and you have to wait 5(?) minutes before you can try again.

I'd take responsibility for timekeeping away from the referee, give it to an official timekeeper sat in a TV truck and have him stop and start the clock when play stops for "injuries", substitutions and streakers and have him tell the ref when actual time was up at the end of each half.

Shows how well we're doing this season. There have been plenty of seasons in the past where we'd have been hoping most of the team were doing black runs wearing blindfolds. Imagine the outpouring of joy if Jermaine Wright had skied over a cliff...

a player is not allowed to receive treatment on the field of play How I wish this was enforced. The amount of time wasted in every game whilst a player is treated by the physio (often spuriously) is infuriating. If the player can walk, get him off the field straight away and let's get on with the game.

In a way I don't think it was - that was total panic. He had time to think for the first one and still did something stupid.

The first of these was just dreadfully stupid and made me question his football brain. 85 mins in the clock, stick it behind the advancing full back for Tadic to chase rather than woefully underhit a pass to his feet with the full back steaming up to pressure him.
