The idea that season ticket holders would be able to buy extra tickets on behalf of people who may not have been to a Saints game for months/years/ever rather than offer them to people with a proven history of attendance (be it home or away) is bonkers, imo.

Buy one from the Saints TO and collect it from the Brentford TO. If tickets bought from Saints aren't posted or collected from St Mary's, they send them up on the team bus for collection from the away ground.

It does seem that we're being treated to a far greater police presence at our away games now than we have in recent years. We also see to be hearing about far more aggro at the football than we have in recent years. I can't help but think that the two are related.

We absolutely can and if we want any chance of going up this season we absolutely must. I personally prefer to see us playing 5 across the middle with Lallana left, Antonio or Papa right and Morgan with 2 of James/Wotton/Hammond in the middle. I also think we are left a little short and perhaps a little light if we have a midfield 4 of Lallana, Morgan, Hammond, James/Antonio/Papa, as we have a times this season, but to say that those two are a luxury we cannot afford is going too far, based on what I've seen.

Well, not really. Not many teams have a 22,00 capacity ground and yet would turn up in such small numbers for such a game.

Well plenty of people who were at the game last night care. Many people enjoy a game with a decent atmosphere far more than they do when the game is played in a ground that isn't even a third-full.

MK Dons have averaged 10203 so far this season and I doubt very many sides have taken 3000 of their own there. Sure, they give away a load of tickets every game but wouldn't you have thought that more of those freeloaders might turn up for a cup (semi)final?

All the more reason for Michelle to offer a discount, IMO.

It's good to be in the presence of such a football expert as Alpine, isn't it? Perhaps he should share some of his infinite wisdom with current top flight managers such as Arsene Wenger, Alex Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti. I'm sure they'd all be grateful to learn that they really shouldn't be rotating their squads and resting players and if they stopped this silly habit they might be successful and might win some trophies.
