  1. No worries! Happy to have helped.
  2. Should've been more but happy to have got something. 4 points from two sides that are about our level is a good return. We lacked cutting edge again, Rodriguez full of ideas but not quite got the shooting boots on. Hopefully the signing of Osvaldo will help us put a few more away, liked his off the ball movement, always trying to play off the shoulder of the defender. Clyne came on and showed glimpses of what we miss when he is out of the team, genuine beat a man pace that pushes defenders back and causes problems. MOTM JWP. Quality delivery from set pieces and put in some of the better balls into the frontmen, hope he can keep it up. Only real grumble for me was realising we couldnt bring punch off the bench. The game was crying out for somebody to run at their defence, hoping for another signing to bring that into our play.
  3. http://livesport4u.com/stream1.html (in case you're curious i believe it is malaysian tv!) if it stops ... http://www.freepremiershiponline.com/streaming-football-links *Try this one, working better http://nutjob.eu/njtvx11.html
  4. Not even fulham at a push ..?
  5. Maybe. That simple. Everton dont have enough squad depth to finish top eight imo and I believe we do. Arsenal too soon to say. If they spend well next week and avoid more injuries they still have enough quality to finish top six or better. If they dont sign quality and pick up any more serious injuries I can see the Wenger out chants becoming deafening...
  6. Thanks Duncan. As I turned twenty two last month I had half a mind to blag it on the assumption they wouldnt check IDs or such like. I dont know why they wouldnt do it but I couldnt see an option for it.
  7. Nope, there is still an OAP concession. Though maybe I have missed something? Anybody a little more ITK on this one?
  8. As others has said we're there or there abouts now. I was upset by the removal of student prices and the new "must have a child" policy for the family area. My brother (a training teacher) and myself have dropped out of going to the sunderland game due to the price (how they decide which games are cat A,B and C is also rather strange with Cardiff and Sunderland both B!).
  9. Thanks! They've been good reads. If you had the time it would be great if you could do them throughout the season. If not thank you anyway and I will look forward to seeing them the same time next year.
  10. Oh go on then ... I'll take tuesday at 1pm. If I get it I can claim im itk for sure
  11. Ah I post now and then but not keen on getting involved in all the nonsense that takes hold of a bulk of the threads. Sure somebody else will have spotted it but skysports has also picked up on Lennon's quotes. I'm quietely confident on this one and it may appear playing a bit of hardball with the agent has showed how narrow his options actually are and may have got us a better deal ...
  12. You can only play the team in front of you ... the spl may not be up to much but he's looked decent in champions league and the scouting team tend to get more right then wrong imo.
  13. Anything thats not a relegation dog fight suits me but of course a good tilt at eight would be more then welcome and would genuinely be made up with a good old fashioned bit of magic in the fa cup. Never been to the new wembley ...
  14. Perhaps, hope not! If they manage to keep ticking over them im sure a good number of our fans would dig deep. Over a few games you could easily achieve 50 to 100k conservatively.
  15. No reason why not or, should it not be feasable, a whip round at the stadium over the next few months could be a go-er ...
  16. Wanayama to shut up the celtic fans saying we are too small to nab their prize assets away! Ability wise my knowledge of all three is patchy but I trust our scouting team to get more right then wrong
  17. Maybe if tickets and sky tv were not so damned expensive ... For me it is the same principle as music, when I can afford to I will buy a cd or pay for a concert for a decent band but, if I cant, will happily blag online. Again the same principle applies to football and, the more I watch of us online, often the more keen I am to find the cash to get to a game again asap. Online streaming will continue but dont be too surprised if people start talking about prosecuting beyond the service providers as they have tried to do in the music industry.
  18. If that was our line up I would be barking mad! .. a'hem, I'l just leave.
  19. Haven't you heard? Twitter official, he handed in a transfer request! Must be off down exeter, its all coming together now ...
  20. Another thread gone wayward, another tw*t added to the ignore list ... Hopefully this Bueno link has some legs to it and, if we do land him, he is given time to settle without us having to rely on him too heavily while he is adapting.
  21. Certainly not worried about our activity yet but it has to be said Villa look to be doing very well!
  22. Spot on, can cover in defensive mid too and has done so for fulham, I know some are big on only buying better but its a team game and he could be a very useful player to have in the squad for a season or two.
  23. Done, like it, nice idea
  24. Baird is worth a look, cant hurt to have him around the training ground for a few weeks, Poch may see him as being able to do a job in the squad.
  25. It depends on the alternatives and the wages of course but we could do worse and it'd be a nice touch him coming back for the sentimentalists out there (myself included). If he still has a couple of seasons in him he could compete with Shaw before he's ready to be clear cut first choice and the likes of Targett can come through as back up. My worry is over reliance on Shaw where he seems to have picked up a few niggling injuries, hopefully we can look after him until he matures physically.
