The club might be influenced in some way by social media and the view of fans, but the reasons fans get restless is because they can see through the bullshit and have an appreciation of what they see on the pitch. For the overwhelming majority of this year, we’ve been really bad. Social media is just reflecting reality. No saints fam wanted to see Ralph in this predicament but we are where we are. SR are going to have to be the ones to do it though as the board are too attached to Ralph, and don’t have a problem with him despite the continued losses and apparent lack of man management and motivational skills.

Who said anything about him enjoying failing? He’s just not good enough at one of the areas he needs to be excellent at for the money: man management. The board are the ones making the mistake.

Saints apparently had a target to finish between 7th and 12th each season. By that measure, he has, and is failing. I suspect that there are many managers who would love to be paid £6 million a year for that.

40 years supporting the club at actual real life football matches and this current situation is the most dispiriting. I’ve passed this to my sons and they may never have an idea what it’s like to support a real football club. Even the media don’t care/talk about us because what is there to say? Gary Lineker is hardly going to get excited about our shared values with a crypto currency brand. They make it hard to care and have dented our club’s heart, but because it’s our football club through thick and thin, they know this can be abused.

JWP wouldn’t have been close to a Graham Taylor England team. If he played for a big club, he’d be in the squad. Although not on this season’s form. But that doesn’t matter anyway.

No excuses for Saints on this.
