  1. Agreed - his distribution has pin point accuracy sometimes - especially out to the wings - a real asset!
  2. It is tiresome. I don't think Liverpool have got that much to be excited about. They weren't that great on Sunday. They scored a word class goal, but goals like that don't come often (we've scored better this season - Pelle in particular). If it weren't for the ref, they wouldn't have won it. And we're still a point above them. We've got far more potential to hit a run of form. I have faith in Pelle to get his confidence back. Bring in West Brom!
  3. I did comment, you just didn't respond.
  4. I empathise. Some people just don't have a natural sense of time. Kick up the backside does help though. Poor Mane
  5. That's a good joke! Can we work out a signal in case one of us is a prospective buyer?!
  6. Barney Ronay, I you massively for saying this and publishing it. Brendan Rodgers, you utter c*ck.
  7. I'm on my own on a train right now. Not sure if I should be embarrassed by this or not. Perhaps Griffo or Sour Cream could advise?

    Fil ?

Maybe he likes that there will be zero knowledge of him from the opposition. I thought he started great. Potential world class (as are Elia & Mane). I'm sure will have ups and downs while adjusting to the Premier League. But I liked his direct and savvy style.
  9. Halo, I'm sorry to hear that sounds annoying. But the only examples I can think involve smug ex Saints players and weak referees. I need TMS to cheer me up, not make me even more sad! Anyone know any jokes?
  10. @JPW_NBCSports: Guess who? Two Premier League referees dropped for next weekend after*controversy http://t.co/yEj7oJUMGT | #CFC #SaintsFC
  11. I like his name. And I like his honesty: "The first one I feel the contact, it was light contact but I fell down. The second one was more a penalty than the first one for sure. I feel his hand on my shoulder and I fell down. "The first one was little bit light and this is England so there are a different type of criteria for the penalty, but the second one definitely."
  12. We're in 5th place. You'd hope so!!!
  13. Yeah, but if we finish above them in the league, we'll have the last laugh. Every time I feel doubt, or annoyance, I remember we beat Man U at Old Trafford.
  14. Only just saw your post! I might watch it too...
  15. I agree, I think we've still got a great chance. Djuricic looked very promising, and Eli and Mane still have so much more potential. And we've got a good run in. I'm glad yesterday's game is out the way. Waste of energy.
  16. Oh my god. Just as my blood pressure was getting back to normal levels, you post this... I don't think I can take any more Rogers, Lovren or Lallana comments on that game!
  17. Yes, but given the impartial info we had on here (ie sources with empathy for the club's side of things), hearing Lallana's viewpoint gave a more well rounded view of the goings on at the time. That's not a criticism of our sources, but Its good to hear both sides and draw your own conclusions.
  18. No nonsense write up by Rory Smith in The Times. "Mourinho has stated time and time again in recent weeks that there is a conspiracy against Chelsea ... But there is not one game in which they have been as unfortunate as Koeman's team were." He then goes on to describe each incident in detail over the next 5 paras. "What stood out about Friend's performance was that his errors lay in not making decisions, rather than making erroneous ones, is that a function of the increasing pressure officials are under? Are they, subconsciously, picking out the path of least resistance? "Whatever the reason, Friend may have had a profound effect on the battle for third and fourth."
  19. I would like to make stand for loners though. They get belittled like they are inferior, but actually some of the greatest genius, whether musicians, writers, artists, has come from loners, or introverts. Anyone feeling the need to meet up with random people from an Internet forum, is clearly not a loner. And anyone with the nerve to do so is not an introvert. Anyone feeling the need to mock anyone for doing so, is a loser! Or like Sour Mash and Griffo, needy, sad, insecure, tw*ts!!
  20. Yikes!! I know who I want on my side if I'm ever walking down a dark alleyway. Sarnia, the difference between guns and knives, isn't that they don't both kill people. They do. It's just that guns make it very easy for any old spineless or unknowing person to do it. With a knife, you need a higher level of commitment.
  21. Programme-gate continues... @JFBLucas: It's a matchday magazine, Brendan! #saintsfc
  22. God, I really need to not read quotes from Rodgers about our club, because it makes me very angry. He won didn't he? Why is he moaning about us? He really should STFU, the pompous arse.
  23. And in the opening 30 mins, pretty exciting. Hence the penalty appeals. Looking forward to seeing more of him.
  24. He already has control over refereeing decisions. Now he wants control over editorial decisions for our programme?! Mind your own, Brendan.
