  1. Don't think Martin would return in that role
  2. So many people have a second team to follow. Mine used to be Aldershot now it's Brackley. Locality and all that.

    Finn Azaz

Whoever scouted him needs the sack
  4. Hmm...Brackley Town are also the Saints
  5. If Still is now considering Aribo to return to the matchday squad then he has clearly run out of ideas and is showing he has little faith in the group of players that Spors/he brought in.
  6. Long throw-in training would be top dollar
  7. To put it in context, he actually makes Sekou Mara look competent, dynamic and engaged with what is happening on the pitch
  8. The problem is that he will lose the dressing room soon enough so he'll not be on that bus for the ride when SR knee jerk
  9. Gerhard Struber
  10. Back 5 is really working for us isn't it
  11. A decent striker and a decent keeper. It wasn't rocket science you tw*t Spors
  12. Sack this knob
  13. We're shit everywhere else
  14. Get this ginger tw*t gone
  15. Jesus wept. Absolutely sh*t.
  16. That is a low bar to be frank
  17. The back 3 are not really looking up for the pass
  18. So bloody slow in possession
  19. Aha, so the SR club group model is really being run for money laundering
  20. I realise that this is with the benefit of hindsight but, with Spor's apparent knowledge of the German game, how come we ended up with Still rather than Gerhard Struber at Bristol City? He may have been sacked with 2 games to go at Koln in div 2 but they did go on to win the title. https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/bristol-city/news/bristol-city-confirm-well-travelled-austrian-as-head-coach-on-long-term-contract_575838.html Already has double the number of wins out of the first 10 games.
  21. It would make more sense pairing Azaz up front with either Armstrong or Archer.
  22. BBC News - Sam Allardyce: Is modern football adopting Big Sam's playbook? - BBC Sport https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cd9ykn45xz2o Now the sage of soccer is asked
  23. BBC News - Why Arsenal and Man City are bringing back long-ball football - BBC Sport https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cvg00wx7j42o This is an interesting article citing City and Arsenal's change in approach this season to counter the well drilled high press and low block that has increasingly been adopted by more physical teams to defeat the high possession tip-tap approach that they have favoured in successive seasons. Maybe it's the only way we can get out of our Martin inspired rut. Judging by Still's ability to coach anything, I'm not so sure. But it's an interesting article nonetheless. Enjoy.
