  1. agreed, better going forward, but still scary at the back.
  2. yipee a corner
  3. I really hope we don't get a thrashing.
  4. diabolical defending!!!
  5. oh nooooooooo
  6. come on your reddddsssssss
  7. If Rudi is still here on Tuesday morning then he has just under 2 weeks to pull himself together and claim the left back.
  8. He lost the ball far too often. I hope he sorts his head out because with his pace he should be a real gem in this division.

    Kelvin

Kelvin did well today, just one scare when he came out and then stopped and couldn't decide what to do, a few other times he looked a bit slow to react. But a number of cracking instinctive saves which saved us from a heavier defeat. Bart hasn't looked the same since getting injured at Newcastle.
  10. Hindsight is brilliant. Many of us feared for this season with the player cull and the installation of an inexperienced manager. It is turning out rather well though.
  11. Wow one manager out of how many? is finally getting the team to play good football.
  12. Lowe. It was Lowes fault that Rednapp was here in the first place. Rednapp has gone and can do us no more damage. Lowe is still here.

    Buses

For the first game the bus I was on did not have the prices. So I didn't know about the return price so cost me £4 instead of £3 (for 2 of us).
  14. After his summer release, I could have sworn that I saw him on the touchline during the first home game. I am now almost sure it was him picking up the balls after the warm up before kick off last night. Is he back? and if so is he being paid?
  15. There were lots of oooohs and aahhhhhs at the brethtaking style of play (passes and back filcks etc). And then amazingly groans of dissapointment when a few balls went astray. We are on the road to total football. We are being treated and must remmber to be patient and not to expect too much. This is a new young side and they will encounter rough patches.
  16. Whilst I am happier with JP than when he was announced, I still think that NP would have done a great job here this season.
  17. I hope you checked that they won't be charging him for a season ticket every year :.) Seriously though, a great gesture from the club and it will make St Mary's all the more special for you and your family.
  18. yipeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Everyone has their right to an opinion, some will agree and some will disagree (debate). If you don't like the subject, move on to another thread, don't criticise the poster for posting the subject.
  20. Seems strange that he would leave us for another Championship team. Whilst I don't want him to go I would accept him moving to the Premiership because we may not be back there during his playing career.
  21. There was still a good atmoshpere from those next to the corners (okay not as good) but not the end of the world. I was more gutted at having to fork out £4 to get me an my son over the itchen bridge and back (the bus I caught didn't advertise the return fare and the unhelpful driver did not mention this either)
  22. I agree, it does show a lack of savvy. I fear that this man is in over his head. An inexperienced manager at this level, with inexperienced players is a recipe for relegation (I sincerely hope that I am wrong). Our bench today looked far to lightweight and it now appears that the manager knew this but was powerless to do anything about it.

    Graham Hiley

Lets face it, it would take him years to work in the premier league if he had stayed with us. Good luck.
  24. Entertaining game, but seriously lacked some experience in the 2nd half. I really do fear for this season. If we have a few injuries we will be in big trouble, you only had to look at our bench today to see the lack of options available.
