Think Guly is better in the middle where he can go inside or outside his man. On the wing he doesn't seem to have a trick up his sleeve to go past his man. One thing he does well in the centre is that he gambles and overlaps the strikers to get into the box. Something we don't have in the centre of midfield at the moment. Most frustrating player for me is Hammond. He rarely passes the ball for a player to run on to, they always have to check their run, or recieve the ball behind them and the number of times he had 10 or 20 yards to make a surging run forward but opted to pass sideways.

Any idea how many tickets have ben sold.

Now imagine it the other way round. Wouldn't you feel more confident if we were 5 points in front and unbeaten in 18 games knowing that it would be hard for others to catch up if you were to keep that form going.

1/ Something Alpine said in the other thread, when we have played our games in hand we have averaged 0.5 points per game (Charlton, Walsall). 2/ I also think we have played quite nervously, particulary against teams in the bottom half of the table. (plymouth,walsall,tranmere ect) 3/ If Lallana or Chamberlain are out for several games it will make it all that much harder. 4/ When I say it needs the others to slip up I mean the Likes of Huddersfield not winning 6 of their last seven games. That will leave us needing 8 wins out of 10 which I can't see us doing. Its all about which team has the most bottle and confidence from now. A win against MK Dons and slip ups for the other two this week end will make me feel a bit easier.

Stating the obvious.

Hate to sound like good old Alpine Saint, but we will need the luck of others slipping up because I think we will struggle.

Thought Forte would have been a better replacement.

That for me is the difference from last season. Waigo and Antonio offered something different when they came off the bench, that was our plan B. This year we don't have those kind of plan B players that can change a game when they come on. I'm hoping Forte is our ace up our sleeve because if not then playoffs is the best we can hope for.

Another crap display but Adkins will say we need to grind out results at tricky places like Walsall. FFS Top teams p1ss on the likes of Walsall, thtas why Brighton are going up and we aint.
