Strange that we have to rely on DMG to play well. Don't like the idea of dropping Euell to the midfield to compensate. For me, he made to many positional changes during the game, it made things complicated. If DMG isnt up for it against Derby then let someone else come in and play that role and leave the rest of the players in their positions.

The way I interpretated was that Lowe may well be on the start of a calm period with the lynch mob backing off for now.

Just when Plymouth and Forest looked to be in a slump, they go out and win 2 games on a trot. Now Blackpool and Barnsley are the out of form teams. These are the two I'm hoping will get cast adrift and our points tally wont need to be so high.

Sorry meant to add IF we survive this season. I still have a horrible niggling feeling that we will go into admin just as things start to look a bit more hopefull. Its just the cynical way supporting Saints has made me.

That is the bit that concerns me. A loss to Brum followed by a home defeat will set us back to square one.

If we win against Brum. I would expect to see our attendance at the next two home games exceed 18,000. If rumours are true that our break even figures at the start of the season were based on an average of 17,000 a game, then anything above that figure will help towards the reduction of our overdraft. Five home gates at 25,000 would be approx £1m reduction in our overdraft. This could put us in a better position to hang on to players for the start of next season and with the same players and manager we could find ourselves making a realistic challenge for the Premiership next season.

With Pompey slipping nearer the relegation zone I am feeling a lot better about our prospects. Also a really good gate on Saturday, lets hope the last five home games bring in crowds big enough to help us fight our debts.
