Surely we have an Asian credit card provider?

i liked him and it wouldn't bother me if he celebrated scoring, i also would welcome him scoring, if we win, obviously. even when someone like beattie, who was with us longer, scored more goals, and generally did more for us, found it difficult not to celebrate when he came back and scored.

very much yes! my lad is being 'guided' in the world of saints using 'in that number' but an up to date one, as suggested every ten years or so, would be perfect. these wouldn't be as thick, and so lessen the price, and would nesessitate people to buy the originals! -
it appears you have!

I think he is suggesting sterling is gay and a good player!

Nigel Adkins. He likes red and white.

can everyone stop bringing last seasons games into every arguement. this season we have started with a new team that needs to get coherancy. five games, one defeat, and in the top 6 at the minute. i am happy with that. when we have gone ten games in a row this season without scoring then it might be a bit of an issue, but not yet. i would happily take ten 1-0 wins, with all goals scored from set pieces, than scoring 30 goals in that time and not winning any of the games. yes we would all love to win pretty, but sometimes you have to take what you are given. and might i remind you, we have just been given an away win against the league leaders. ha ha ha scouse boys!

i think it is a mark twain quote..... "the older i get, the more clearly i remember things that didn't actually happen". don't worry, you aren't the only one!

neither am i. can you tell me which bit needs to be attacked? is it because i can't sing that song to our anthem tune?
-
the thread is who wouldn't be happy with 0-0? surely everyone? the only reason there is any debate is because most on here seem to think it inevitable we go to anfield and lose. there are other possibilities, e.g. we win. if, after 70 minutes into the game and we have been battered all ends sideways from the first minute, and it is still 0-0, then yes, i would be happy to come back with a 0-0. we haven't kicked off yet. we could go there and totally dominate them, as a few posters on the lfc web page seem to be worried about, and then everyone wolud be annoyed to 'only' get a 0-0. football isn't played on paper you know. have faith. PMA, it works!

Is football now sterile one sided and boring?

i am. two years ago i was diagnosed with liver cancer and joked that i would see the saints back in the prem in my lifetime, but never actually thinking it would happen. (mainly because i didn't think i would make three months) since then, i have had my liver resected and chemo to help through the next six months or so. seeing my son grow up a fan, taking him to st mary's for the first time, but seeing the saints play boring football, will be worth it. that first game for him will be his 7th birthday on the weekend of the swansea match. believe me, life gets some different persprctives when you really have something to worry about! -

check out my theory about the play off/ relegation system -
but what is the tune? if it is meant to be the national anthem, it doesn't quite sit right with me. possibly better, if as suggested, it was one to the french one, then maybe. why doesn't anyone ask him what he would prefer?
-
didn't this used to happen? if you had players away, you played the reserves, or the players came back quicker. but then again, that would tire out our fully paid professional athletes that struggle to play three games in any two week period!

surely to the tune of spiderman, spiderman, does anything a spider can...............

well it is about time the premier league got hold of my idea. read it, laugh if you want, but then read it again and you will realise it can only be a force for good, to level the playing field and get more competetive leagues. the current play off system is old hat and needs to be changed. therefore i propose two varying alternatives. a final league table where the bottom eight, yes eight, teams go down. possibly ten. this will shake up the leagues a lot. three mid table finishes could see teams go from L2 to the prem, or vice versa. teams like everton, villa, spurs up till recently, have all been a bit cack, and need a kick up the @rse. we got it sure enough. a bad season from liverpool, for example, and they are relegated. tv money will be shared out amongst the teams more. yes certain teams will recieve a share year after year, but they do now anyway. and don't forget, it only takes one mediocre season! the second is the play offs to include up to tenth bottom, bottom two automatically down with every one else playing each other - 11v18, 12v17, 13v16, 14v15 and the four losers, whoever they are go down, and the same coming up. it's just an idea! -
Stonewall told BBC Sport they teamed up with Paddy Power because they can "talk the language of fans and players" and, while the slogan might be risque, the "overall message was to make sure that homophobic abuse does not have a place in the game." this was from that article, for those of you who can't be @rsed to read it, but i think it is terrible that gay people, e.g. stonewall, believe that all football supporters are gamblers. why else would paddy power be able to "talk the language of fans and players". that is an uncomfortable stereotype stance for any organisation to take, and i for one am offended by their views!

and none of them have rainbow laces in.................just saying, clearly our beloved saints are a team of homophobes
