Just been reading the HYS comments on the various strands of the BBC's coverage. The hyperbolic hypocrisy of fans from other clubs is incredible: "Should be relegated to League1", "Should have been 20 points deducted", "Solak should be barred from owning a football club", etc, etc. Yet once the new season starts they'lll be baying for a penalty every time a player from their club trips over himself in the penalty area, for an opponent to get a red card whenever one of their team dives and fakes an injury, or celebrating wildly when the international star they financed through illicit means wins a match for them. Players "steal" yards at throwins, try to claim corners or goal kicks despite knowing they last touched the ball. There are many "in game" acts that can potentially influence a match far more than breaking the 72 hour rule. Football runs on cheating, it is not only tolerated, it is expected. It is lauded as "professionalism" by the sanctimonious media. Yet for some reason the people making these comments, or publishing their "opinion" pieces won't be satisfied until Tonda and Dragan have been publicly crucified. No one likes us, WE DON'T CARE.
