Thank you for not answering my question, again.

I am well aware of what Vlad has said. What I asked you was what specifically that Truss said do you think triggered him ? Or do you think the UK Foreign Minister should not speak out when a foreign affairs crisis emerges ? You were the one ranting that she should keep her mouth shut.
-
So what is it that she said that with hindsight she could have not, such that Putin would not have gone Nuclear Tonto ?
-
Which statement of hers do you think triggered Putin to go all DefCon 2 ? Was it her astute grasp of Eastern European geography ? Perhaps her in depth understanding of the Russian Federation's constituent regions ? Or perhaps asserting that an attack on one NATO member is an attack on all ?

Where in my post did I imply that ? You seem to be looking for arguments where none is being offered. All I did was state that Abramovich's plane is registered in Luxembourg - an indisputable truth. The facts are that the UK and EU have closed their airspace to Russian registered aircraft, but Abramovich's plane doesn't fall into that net. If you try to ban all planes owned by Russian oligarchs they would certainly find.a shell company to hold the paperwork, or simply move a lease to to the Cayman Islands. It is far easier to police aircraft registration letters and the transponder codes linked to them than to try to wade through potentially masses of paperwork trying to work out who actually owns a business jet. It is well within the remit of the Government to close off travel options for the Russian elite operating in the UK, they have chosen so far not to do so.

As indeed with Abramovich, whose plane is registered in Luxembourg. Once Warrior gets into full-on rant mode logic flies out the window.

Do you drink from the same bottle as Guided Missile ?

"Death is inevitable for the occupier here" The 'V' symbol seen on the vehicles apparently indicates Russian forces that have attacked via Belarus.

It seems like the Americans in WW2 didn't know the difference either

Now if you really wanted to fuel the conspiracy theories, you would have pointed out that Putin waited until BoJo had lifted all restrictions before invading Ukraine.

A petition to Finland's Parliament asking to join NATO has passed the threshold for consideration.

So, you truly are an arrogant cock. I know exactly what I am talking about, I am fairly certain that you do as well, but your superiority complex won't let you admit it.
-
You arrogant cock ! Im know all of that, I learnt it at school in the 1970s. Now go out into the street and ask the first 20 people you meet whether Stalin was Russian. I bet 90% of the time the answer would be yes. In the general public perception, Russia stretches from St Petersburg to Vladivostock, from Mumansk to Sevastopol.
-
For most people "Russia" and "Soviet Union" are, and have been for the last 100 years, synonymous. You know and understand the point I was making and are deliberately being obtuse. Is Vladivostock in Russia or Siberia ? The answer in general acceptance is both. If you had asked that question in 1940, the answer would have been the same. Either way, the Baltic states have not been independant for the majority of the last 250 years. Also, the SU was an Empire, controlled centrally, managed and perceived as a single entity. The EU, as in your flawed comparison, is an economic alliance of independant nations states.

The Russian soldiers might not have been there, but many will be related to, or acquaintances of, those who were.

Logistics. It isn't necessarily that there isn't enough fuel, it is where it is in relation to the vehicles requiring it. Remember that they have been driving round playing war games for the last month, and the Russian army has a history of poor logistical planning. Also, fuel tankers are a priority target. I suspect that the Russian planners counted on capturing Ukrainian supplies, and potentially using civilian filling stations. For every front line soldier there can be up to 6 logistics and support troops, who also need fuel and food.

Stingers. But the point is not WHAT they are sending, it is the fact that they are sending it.

That might play into Russian memories of Afghanistan.
