No, that's the successor models with the a/l, T72 and later, which have lower silhouettes. According to the urban myth the height limit for crew members in these tanks is 5 feet 3 inches, officially the Russians say it is 5 feet 9, but anybody approaching that height will find their head and shoulders severely bruised, and drivers will find it difficult to fit their legs into the space provided in front of their position.

Casualties as a result of armed conflict do not amount to 'genocide'. The Ukrainians have been fighting a Russian backed insurrection since 2014, aiming to re-establish control over their internationally acknowledged sovereign territory. Ukraine has not shown or voiced any intent to prevent the use of the Russian language, or to deny people the right to identify as being of Russian descent. ( And the 15k figure is the total of casualties on both sides; nearly 11k are military casualties, and it also includes the 298 dead from the downing of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 ). On the other hand, Putin's SMO is directly aimed at eradicating the Ukrainian state, national identity, and ability to continue to function as an emerging modern democracy.

That only works as an anti-tank obstacle, and even then it isn't wide enough. Infantry trenches zig zag and dog-leg, to reduce the effect of blast waves travelling along them.

In terms of raw numbers, Russia has now lost more tanks, more personnel carriers, more artillery pieces, and more helicopters than it originally had committed as part of the invasion force in February.

Vaccines almost certainly do not provide 100% prevention of onward transmission within the population. This is due to the fact that everybody's immune systems will respond to the virus and vaccine slightly differently. It was always the case, based on experience with previous vaccination programs that in a significant proportion of the population, vaccination would prevent transmission, in most others it would reduce it, and in a few, whilst preventing the infection from developing fully, would not impact transmissibility very much. The best 'defence' was always to wear a mask.

But, there was a genocide against Russian speakers - Manji heard it from Putput so it must be true. ( This Russian claim of 'genocide' is as credible as me saying there is a genocide against English speakers in Wales ).

So what should they have done ? 1) What they are currently doing 2) Pile in full bore, as you put it "shock and awe", against Russia 3) Sit back and twiddle their thumbs whilst Ukraine gets crushed
