I am just starting a rebuild of 2 old Raleigh road frames; one will stay a road bike, the other will be set up as a gravel bike, and I am casting around for the various components required. This is turning out top be a bit of a chore as no dealer seems to have enough stock to provide more than 2 of the components needed, quite a lot are reporting out of stock, but I have managed to draw up the shopping list. Whilst I appreciate the current situation, with the pandemic ( or scamdemic for some ) affecting supplies, and Brexit meaning that almost all European shops and dealers are no longer shipping to the UK, I did find that one UK dealer who reported that the item I was looking for should be with their distributor on 7th November 2022 was pushing their luck.
