  1. Almost impossible for 2 reasons; firstly the 5 permanent member states have to reach a concensus that one of them is to be removed, and then a 2/3rds majority of the UN member states must support it. The only time it has happened was when the Peoples Republic of China took over the seat originally granted to the Nationalist Chinese ( Taiwan ), as they were clearly the true Government of China.
  2. What happened in 1971 to upset you ? Edit: something went wrong with my maths there - 1981, of course.
  3. Don't for a second think that every Englishman thinks like Duckypoos.

    Yes it is.
  5. Did Bobby Davro go around measuring his status by the number of people "following" him on social media ?
  6. Who's worried ? And I'm not surprised that there are so many "stupid people", after all, they voted to leave the EU.
  7. I don't measure my 'popularity' on the basis of the number of people I have never met.
  8. Collateral damage as far as they are concerned - the " Provinces" are all draining resources from England, and for some losing Scotland and Wales will more likely result in their gaining a Tory controlled utopia.

As an aside, I see that Mancock is now accused of having an affair with a woman to whom he gave a high ranking job in the Department of Health.

Apparently some UK Olympic athletes don't want the vaccine. It can't be because they're afraid of needles. 😉
  11. Might be free currently, but they are changing the level of service; "Meanwhile, Three has lowered its EU roaming data limit from 20GB to 12GB to bring it in line with non-European destinations included in its offer. Any excess data will be subject to 0.3p per MB, or £3 per GB." https://www.techradar.com/uk/news/o2-denies-eu-data-limit-signals-return-of-roaming-after-brexit
  12. Kellogg's "limited edition" Brexit breakfast cereal is back in the shops;
  13. When was that ?
  14. Wait until France take the lead, England would then play Hungary.
  15. I don't want to live on the continent, I am quite content as a British citizen and resident. As for 'making my bed', leaving wasn't my choice, you made it for me. ( If I didn't moan occasionally about the situation you and your fellows have created, you wouldn't get half as many opportunities to post on here ).

Not as scary as the possibility, however faint, that this persona you are exhibiting is genuine, and there is a real person out there thinking and believing the crap you post.
  18. Not to those Little Englanders who prefer to view jocks, sweaties, taffs, micks, and paddies as second class Britons benefitting from association with the English.
  19. As I have a UK passport, presumably it is OK for me to moan if I feel it necessary ?

I suspect that CD thinks he/she/it/they are in the good old USofA, which would explain almost everything.
  21. Whatever you think the last 5 years have delivered for the country, with hindsight they will look wonderful when looking back in comparison to the next 5.
  22. Sometimes Matthew's eagerness to impress with his geek pedant superpower gets the better of him and he gets a premature interjection.

The aliens controlling the implant in your head sure have earnt their pay over the last few weeks. The risk of death as a result of vaccination is absolutely minute, you are far more likely to die from being struck by lightning or falling out of bed, ( or perhaps being struck by lightning whilst falling out of bed ). As for malpractice payments, the CoViD vaccines are covered by the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme in the UK. I suspect the revocation of the right to sue the manufacturers is more to do with the fast track program for development by which the Government reduced the timetable and red tape for creation, testing, and certification of the vaccines.
