  1. You have to remember that this is the same JRM whose investment company moved a large chunk of it's assets to EU bases before 'Freedom Day', having described Brexit as 'a risk' in a prospectus for investors.
  2. Quite a few above in the same vein.
  3. Perhaps we need to merge this thread with the "LGBTQ+ History Month" one.
  4. I refer the honourable gentleman to an interview between Channel 4 news anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy and the Victorian melodrama villain that is Jacob Rees-Mogg; Rees-Mogg: “We will know at some point, of course we will. But it’s a question of timescale.” Guru-Murthy: “So how long have you got?” Rees-Mogg: “We won’t know the full economic consequences for a very long time, we really won’t.” Guru-Murthy: “Of course not, but I mean we’ll have an indication. We’ll know if there’s been chaos, we’ll know if there have been job losses.” Rees-Mogg: “The overwhelming opportunity for Brexit is over the next 50 years.”
  5. Certain other aspects of his morphology do.
  6. Historically this is true, and some say it still continues, ( despite China claiming that it is tidying up it's steel industry ); https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/business/yorkshire-industrialist-sir-andrew-cook-calls-for-wholesale-ban-on-unsafe-chinese-steel-imports-3250370 The Chinese are quite capable of producing steel equal to anything that Europe or the US can produce, but the regulation of the industry, as with so much of Chinese industrial output, is subject to practices and quality control that at best could at times be described as "dubious".

You aren't trying to tell me that there is no such thing as a time travelling Police box ?

Do you agree that the anti-vaxxers claims have been debunked. ( If you somehow still disagree, could you provide verifiable evidence to support such a position ).
  9. Skittles "White Pride" - I bet the EDL love 'em.
  10. What I find amusing is the outrage on the front pages of the Express and the Telegraph: this is something that was inevitable, and the Government were warned about. These papers campaigned for Brexit, but don't like the fact that the EU is now predictably shutting the door on us.
  11. Balkanisation of the UK won't cure anything.
  12. Another Brexit "benefit" may be looming, this time for the UK TV and film industries: there is talk that as the UK is now a 'third country' there is too much UK produced televisual content on EU television channels and streaming services.

Because they are. The vaccine is not a control mechanism, is not a programmable implant or microchip, it will not alter your DNA, it will not make you infertile, it does not contain foetal tissue, it will not give you CoViD-19, it is safe for people with compromised immune systems, and it is safe for older people. ( I think that covers most of them ). Simples.
  16. Standard tactic on here.

"2 + 2 = 7" is 100% wrong, but what is the opposite that "must be true" ?
  19. I think you should get a medal for maintaining this persona so capably for so long.
  20. Does the selection of a ( biologically/gentically male ) trans woman weightlifter for the Olympics increase New Zealand's chances of winning a medal in the women's 87kg class ? This person competed in mens' events up to 2012.
  21. Would that make Bolton Winterfell ?
  22. Three years on from the start of this thread, does anybody ( other than the deluded OP ) "appreciate" the Donald ?
  23. They would do it so as not to be seen posting an obnoxius and offensive letter through a neighbour's letter box.
  24. Crew, round, turtle, or v neck ?
