injuries, suspensions, and even AFCON are just normal events that impact squads, and with which clubs have to cope every season. There is no way that with a 25 player first team squad, plus the U23s, ANY EPL team would fail to muster 13+1, even allowing for CoViD.

The Expanse comes to an end with most threads in the Solar System neatly tied off, but the other sides of the rings left vague and loosely sketched. Knowing how the books develop this isn't much of a problem, but as an ending for those unfamiliar with them is it sufficient, or has the Laconia story line simply been left hanging ?

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

So, an enquiry instigated by Boris Johnson, into the actions of Boris Johnson, carried out by an employee of Boris Johnson, will be submitted to Boris Johnson so that Boris Johnson can determine if Boris Johnson is in breach of any rules or codes, and what, if any, consequences Boris Johnson might have to face. I have complete faith in this process. -
I suspect that for the duration of the loan Broja is a Southampton player, and unless Chelsea have a recall clause for this window he stays here. It is possible that Chelsea could still sell him to another team, effective from the end of the loan, but I doubt they would recall him to sell in this window as I don't think they need the money.

He doesn't need to, he'll earn far more outside politics. -

He made the rules, he expected the Police to enforce them, he sets the tone and example for the country. He knew the 'events' were happening and could have stopped them all it needed was a bit of leadership. He has failed on so many levels and his incompetence and lack of authority is plain to see. It is because he sets the standard by which we are all measured that he must go. -

Why do they think that giving a grudging apology is enough to let Boris off the hook, and that we should now "move on" ? Surely there have to be consequences ? -
Can we not just forfeit this match now, bring the team home, and let one of them lend his visa to Novak Djokovic.

As Jess Philips has just pointed out on QT - Sue Grey has no power to take evidence under oath, or even to compel people to speak to hwr. And remember, the last Civil Servant led enquiry that questioned Boris, over the flat redecoration, he lied to. -

We need to know if Lord D concurs.

Good business by the Dingles; £25m received for weakening a relegation rival.

His only game on the pitch for England was a friendly. He was also interested in playjng for Scotland, having a Scottish grandmother, but never appeared for them. He qualifies for Sierra Leone through a grandfather.

If there is such a thing as natural justice Trippier will do his hamstring and Wood will turn his ankle badly.

I hope for her sake that Virginia Giuffre doesn't go driving through any tunnels in the near future. -
I don't know about that: 4-1 up with 5 minutes to p!ay I was as nervous as if we were defending 1-1 with 9 men. Must be something to do with supporting Saints for over 50 years.

The government's use of a "VIP lane" to award contracts for personal protective equipment (PPE) to two companies was unlawful, the High Court has ruled. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-59968037

They voted for Brexit, then voted him into office. He knows how stupid they are. The definition of a turd that will not flush. Asking people to wait until the enquiry has concluded translates as buy us some time to identify a sacrificial lamb.
