  2. It depends on their next three matches, currently slated as Watford (h), Leeds (a), and Everton (h), which will be played before significant reinforcements can be bedded in. ( It's a shame about the postponements ). If they get less than 4 points from those three then the equation gets harder, but I think that 35 points will keep teams up this season. By the end of January it is highly likely that the relegation fight will be down to 3 from 4.
  3. As I said, plenty of lawyers currently arguing over it, so let's wait and see what the Judge says tomorrow.
  4. Plenty of lawyers arguing to and fro over it at the moment. Is the 'agreement' viable in Federal or other State jusrisdictions, or is it limited to Florida ? Does it have value if alleged offences took place outside of US territory, as is claimed ?
  5. Doesn't mean he didn't do it.

  7. I am going to spend the rest of the season supporting whoever is playing Newcastle.
  8. Yet in November, the FT ran a report that concluded "Brexit is a slow bleed for the City. And the drip, drip, drip continues." https://www.ft.com/content/218e34b3-3e3e-4655-920e-a475862a9d21 I suppose most people will read and quote whichever media outlets support / promote their personal views.

  13. Will the postponed midweek games from this week be on Amazon as they should originally have been ?
  14. The match was stopped with about 5 to play as staff went to assist somebody in the crowd.
  15. Apparently the contract is nearly there but relegation clauses still to be agreed.

  17. It is because Newcastle, of all the teams in the league, have most to gain from postponing games because they know that they will be spending more than anybody else in January and so will be playing the rescheduled games with a stronger team than they would otherwise have put out for them. And given most fans' views of the management of the EPL, there is an easy correlation that keeps NUFC and their money in the league for next season.
  18. What if team A, being the team that asked for the postponement, have sold 3 players from their squad in the meantime, and team B, the innocent party, have signed 2 new starters.
  19. So why not Everton as well ?
  20. As long as it follows beating Everton 8-0.
  21. Whichever one we are playing next. Apart from that; Spurs, both sets of scousers, WHU, and since the takeover Newcastle - but looking forward to mega-lols when they fail to stay up.

  24. Because we actually do use the U23s, so will always have enough players to meet the PL criteria, ( unfortunately ).
