  1. Nic seems to find this whole episde amusing.
  2. There are going to be a lot of disappointed people if the truth of this incident is as it seems.
  3. Liver ( salts )
  4. Why do BoJo and Moggy think the next generation needs to have so much of their contribution to it ?
  5. World Club Cup gets in the way.
  6. Sounds like a depilatory procedure.

  8. 3 weeks in, 5 councillors down; https://theweek.com/politics/reform-uks-councillors-are-off-to-a-rocky-start "Des Clarke resigned from Nottinghamshire County Council just days after being elected, citing "significant changes" to his personal circumstances. Donna Edmunds – elected in Hodnet in Shropshire – has also stepped down, after being suspended from the party just 48 hours after her election for a social-media post about her plans to defect. Andrew Kilburn quit his post in Durham after failing to declare that he worked for the council. Luke Shingler, who was elected in Warwickshire, is now serving as an independent because his RAF job prohibits him from representing a political party. And Staffordshire Reform councillor Wayne Titley resigned for "personal reasons", after posting on social media that the Royal Navy should use a "volley of gunfire" to sink small boats crossing the Channel."
  9. If the ref awards a penalty VAR will check to see if he has made a mistake. Because the ref blew his whistle for a foul on the keeper, incorrectly, a split second before the Villa player scored, VAR cannot do anything to correct him. Why didn't the ref let play go on ? If it was a foul on the keeper VAR would have disallowed the goal and saved his blushes.
  10. Very much in United's favour.
  11. Reform, as usual, coming out with alternative facts. Staffordshire was not "the first Ruk county council ever ever!". It holds that title jointly with 6 others. Hopefully this is the standard for most Reform councillors, and by the next GE people will have had more than enough of them at this level and realise how unsuitable they are as an option for real political power..
  12. Whilst Abbas, playing for Notts, demolishes Yorkshire.
  13. They could have voluntarily been relegated to League 1 and benefitted from the parachute payments paid under those cirvumstances.

If there was an Olympic whataboutery competition, you would beat Trousers to the gold medal. Nobody, I mean NOBODY, was claiming that decapitation was an exclusively "Islamist thing", and using legal execution of convicted murderers in comparison to the slaughter of innocent people by terrorists is cringe worthy. Some people sentenced to death in Court have been shot by firing squad, but that doesn't in any way equate to the victims of the HAMAS attacks who were machine gunned.

The RAF were lucky if a bomb landed within a mile of the intended target during the heavy bomber raids on Germany, which is why they resorted to blanket bombing. Sometimes they bombed the wrong town. "Bomber" Harris's plan was the deliberate destruction of civilian infrastructure so as to displace the population and disrupt Germany's war production. ( The USAAF's renowned Norden bomb sight, which it was claimed could land a bomb in a barrel, was almost as inaccurate. Several navigational errors saw the RAF and the Yanks bomb neutral Switzerland )..
