  3. They would still be 'young' from my perspective. I could always skip a generation and leave it all to my grand children, or alternatively blow it all on wild living by way of equity release.
  4. Any accumulated 'wealth' stored up in the increased market value of my house will go to my children when I finally turn up my toes, so in the end the transfer of wealth is from the old to the young.

  25. We had Belgian, Dutch, Free French, Greek, and Czech forces fighting in the Allied armies, and of course the Poles who fought as part of the 8th army and ended up leading the capture of Monte Cassino. ( And even the Italians ended up on our side in 1943 ).
