Who is left to go on the bench ?

More grief for the civilian population of Aleppo.

I thought people were complaining that the media had too much of a left-wing bias.

Close to our lineup for our next match.

Regardless, it shouldn't take 5 minutes to decide.

Lol at posters anticipating what others might be posting.

The bigger question is how come cricket, rugby, and even the NFL, get replay technology right when football gets it so wrong ?
-
It's far more serious than that...........
-
Lol at those who didn't understand the rules. Whether the rules are bollox is another matter.
-
Did they ? The replays shown on TV as the decision was being reviewed constantly focussed on Arma. At the time I wondered why, as I thought they would be checking Archer, but it makes sense if it was whether Arma was interfering.
-
And running through the GK's peripheral vision.
-
Without VAR that is moot. Unfortunately VAR have to look at every aspect, every player possibly involved, and even the notorious 'phases of play bollox. They are not simply asked "I flagged Archer off - was he ?"
-
Without VAR the 'goal' would not have stood as the lino flagged offside.

Nic, the posts above that mockingly quoted you were laughing at your assertion that Biden had permitted the use of ICBMs by Ukraine. This is blatant misinformation, and I have no idea where you picked it up from. Not even Putin would try to use ICBMs, which by definition are INTERCONTINENTAL, as it would automatically trigger US defence systems, regardless of where they were aimed. What Biden has permitted is the use of long range artillery systems, such as ATACMS, fired from Ukraine at targets in Russia. These systems have a maximum range of, at best, a couple of hundred miles, and are being used against Russian C and C centres, ammunition storage, and airfields This may be seen as escalatory, but Russia has been blitzing Ukraine for nearly 4 years with weapons fired from positions that up to now have been safe from Ukrainian retaliation, meaning Ukraine has been fighting with one hand tied behind it's back. Do you believe that Ukraine has the right to defend itself against blatant aggression and terrorism, or not ? Do you believe that Putin is justified in his attempts to destroy civilian power and heating infrastructure as winter approaches ? Do you think that the concentration camp conditions under which Ukrainian POWs are being held are acceptable ? Or should Ukraine have simply rolled over and let Russia occupy it's territory and oppress it's people ?

Yet the obsession is with the fraction of the overall inbound numbers carrying out an 'invasion' by crossing the Channel in small boats

At least they are more open about it than the dividing up of the West Bank.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?
badgerx16 replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
The BBC have now changed the wording of their report to clarify that the mugging did acually take place, and only the additional claim of the phone being stolen was fabrication. It seems her biggest error was not correcting her story when she found the phone. -

She plead guilty to making a false report to the Police, inventing a false 'vicious' mugging to cover having lost her work phone, ( which it turns out wasn't lost ). So yes, she did. -

Presumably nobody has complained about seeing a cock in the showers.

`Correct, Presumably your email account/s regularly receive notifications telling you of failed deliveries, invites from Russian brides, or the old style Nigerian Prince looking for a safe repository for £10million. Very rarely there will be a specifically crafted message aimed at a particular company or organisation, but this level of sophisticated industrial meddling requires a lot more advanced planning and intelligence gathering to identify the people likely to be vulnerable to exploit. As an aside, one IT Security company was tasked with testing the site security of a major business. They spent days sitting in the local pubs observing the staff on their lunch breaks, which enabled them to formulate a plan; They had a particularly attractive female employee who they had walk up to the main office of the target carrying a number of files. As she reached the main desk she dropped the files and the duty security guard helpfully picked them up for her. She apologised for causing him trouble and for not being able to get her security pass out of her beg as her hands were full, so the guard gallantly opened the security door for her. By using information overheard in the pub, or gleaned by making 'accidental' phone calls to certain staff of the business, this female security tester ended up inside the supposedly secure computer room, from where she called the IT Manager to tell him his site was not as secure as he had imagined.
