  1. Well that's it, season over. 30 games still to play and a massive 4 points to make up on the automatic promotion places.
  2. Some quotes from that missing National Curricullum set text we discussed elsewhere : "The Jews were responsible for bringing negroes into the Rhineland with the ultimate idea of bastardising the white race which they hate and thus lowering its cultural and political level so that the Jew might dominate." "The Jewish youth lies in wait for hours on end...spying on the unsuspicious German girl he plans to seduce.....he wants to contaminate her blood and remove her from the bosom of her own people. The Jew hates the white race and wants to lower its cultural level so that the Jews might dominate." "The longer I lived in Vienna, the stronger became my hatred for the promiscuous swarm of foreign peoples which began to batten on that old nursery ground of German culture." (A reference to East Europeans) "When you tell a lie, tell big lies. This is what the Jews do, working on the principle, which is quite true in itself, that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility......" "Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord" "...To what an extent the whole existence of this people is based on a continuous lie is shown incomparably by the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, so infinitely hated by the Jews. They are based on a forgery, the Frankfurter Zeitung moans and screams once every week: the best proof that they are authentic... For once this book has become the common property of a people, the Jewish menace may be considered as broke" " "Here he stops at nothing, and in his vileness he becomes so gigantic that no one need be surprised if among our people the personification of the devil as the symbol of all evil assumes the living shape of the Jew." "The ignorance of the broad masses about the inner nature of the Jew, the lack of instinct and narrow-mindedness of our upper classes, make the people an easy victim for this Jewish campaign of lies."
  3. So they sneaked into Czechoslovakia and Poland without us noticing ? And to answer THE question, they were worse. Whether you accept my justification for this opinion or not is up to you, but I am entitled to it, and here it is : The Germans, and their fascist allies, engaged themselves in an industrialised effort to eradicate an entire religion/race from Europe, and if unchecked would have tried to extend this across the globe. Alongside this they wiped out huge numbers of eastern european civilians in a lust for 'Lebensraum', and took slave labourers from all the occupied countries to maintain their war effort. The British, probably misguidedly, viewed themselves as benevolent rulers of the Imperial territories, and after the war tried to re-establish the status-quo of dominion over the Empire. As a result of this, they viewed independence movements, such as the Mau Mau, as terrorists, and as in so many other examples in the last 100 or so years, once you take the standpoint that you are fighting such a group, common sense and 'reasonable force' go out of the window. Not ideal, not acceptable, and historically not justifiable, but in no way anywhere near what the Nazis were doing.
  4. OK. Clearly, and concisely, what is the question ?
  5. That would be like the benefit to the Iraqi people of having companies like Haliburton slicing up their economy ?
  6. Their's was worse because (1) we won WW2 and (2) we defeated the Mau Mau. As stated previously, history is written by the victors.
  7. I googled it first, then having seen the list decided to erase my browser history, just in case.
  8. 4 names from the Menin Gate at Ypres : Muhammad Aslam, Abdullah Khan, Ahmad Khan and Muhammad Usman. Surely they are as deserving of remembrance as any other casualty ?
  9. Not that I'm a commie, but I actually do believe some things the Daily Heil prints. For instance on today's front page it clearly states that today is Friday 12th November 2010, with which I wholeheartedly concur.
  10. But that in itself is slightly disingenuous reporting, because they have grouped all the variations of Mohammed together, yet kept Charlie & Charles separate, which would together put them third. Similarly, Jacob & Jake when combined come 4th. Nothing like a little bit of twisting statistics to prove a point.
  11. I am fairly certain that all paedophiles were themselves at some point children, so maybe this is just some very advanced thinking.
  12. Isn't that why we have local elections every four or five years ? Councillors are completely accountable to their constituents, and if you don't approve you should exercise your mandate.
  13. Christianity is 2000 years old, Islam is about 1300 years old. Where was Christianity in 1300 ? Maybe there is a set timetable in religious evolution, and everybody will ultimately end up where the Hindus are.
  14. streams
  15. That would be crusades, slavery, and empire building then ?
  16. In what way ? They are both examples of very poor judgement being exhibited by our elected representatives, and both are offensive. Just because one of them might agree with parts of your own personal prejudice, whilst the other might be reinforcing your stereotypical views of Labour MPs, doesn't make either acceptable.
  17. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?26404-Tory-arrested-for-twitter-comment From the comments on that thread, it seems to be acceptable for a Tory to ask for somebody to be stoned to death via Twitter, as the law is judged to be too harsh and it was just 'a bit of fun'.
  18. ..before you tear me all apart You'd better stop before you go and break my heart Ooh you'd better stop
  19. You have gone up in my estimation.
  20. £21k pa qualifies as 'high' wages ?
  21. I suspect that LibDem voters voted with the understanding their party would never have actually got into power.
  22. verbal
  23. Drop and roll.
  24. But there wasn't an option for a ConDem coalition, and I suspect that the vast majority of LibDem voters voted AGAINST the Conservatives as much as against the Brown regime.
