Very odd that he's suddenly appeared on the OS in this seasons kit... Don't see any of the 'others' such as Billy on there. Would love Lee to be given his chance. We've never really seen what he's fully capable of. Can't do much worse than Mayuka in last seasons appearances...

Completely agree with the OP and that you should only be able to 'loan downwards' respective of owning clubs league. The idea of abolishing it is potentially quite harmful to the development of younger players depriving them of first team football (not that it seems to be a problem with us at the moment), so that's not the answer in my opinion.

Exactly. He really wasn't given a chance. Considering how he performed for us I think it was an odd decision to loan him out. Mayuka was clearly a punt and both managers clearly don't rate him. We'll never know how Sharp could have contributed to our last season but it's a safe bet to say it would have been equal to or more than Mayuka's impact.

I think he's a fantastic player, truly world class. Plus we've got one of his international team mates already here! Like you say though, his wages would almost certainly be an issue.

My flatmates also a Yeovil fan and seems pleased with getting Seaborne. I can't remember too much about him playing for us but he did feature a fair amount in league 1 so can't be that bad! So with Hoskins also at Yeovil can we expect them to take anyone else from us this window? I'd like to see Barnard given a go with them...

I know he tailed off a bit towards the end of the season but I would still insist on playing Lambert. His influence, leadership and vision was exceptional at times last season. The difficulty is where does he fit in with our proposed structure? As a lone striker he lacks the pace and dexterity to be a real threat, but if we were to play him up front with a partner then we loose a structure capable of utilising Ramirez effectively.

Change Jambo to Victor and we've got a winner. But in all honesty do we really think anything other than the usual 4-5 chants will get used?
