the media fawning of OGS at the time was utterly cringeworthy. He provided some new manager bounce when they played lower ranked sides. Even when they won at Spurs, they got battered. Butt the media fawned all over him. Even that win at PSG - when it was all the rage to say 'give him the job now - they were very lucky. They had absolutely no need to give him the job when they did as he was hardly going to walk out.

Poor end to the season But the job was done a couple of weeks ago and that was the main aim for Ralph. I have no doubt that we would be bottom of the league had the 'stuck' with Hughes. Ralph looks like a good manager but he does prefer 4222 formation. We clearly do not have the players to play it and despite what the dinlows say here, we require a decent chunk of changes to the side and actually sign some quality, to break into the top 10 next season.
