why no wage cap when we were paying Beattie £20k a week 15 years ago? that was relatively mental then compared to nurses and policemen
-
then it has been nuts for about 30 years.....
-
why is that nuts?
-
Zaha and Maguire expected to sign new deals at their clubs... Spurs apparently knew 6 months ago that there was a huge risk on making the deadline they set to open the new ground..
-
I see spurs ground is not going to be ready by the time stated. Just heard on the radio that it should come with a 4 point deduction according to Premier League law... any ideas if true? would be hilarious if so

used to be the top 1, then the top 2, then for ages it was the top 4, now it is the top 6. Everton trying to make it the top 7. we had our chance to gate crash that party.....we chose to sell everyone even now, when it is obvious we would still make a profit if not one fan passed through the turnstiles at SMS, we have to sell to buy. -
Over the past 48 hours Jeremy Corbyn didn’t participate in the ceremony / didn’t hold the wreath / misremembered the wreath / wasn’t sure which ceremony or wreath / actually may have been pictured with the wreath / okay did lay the wreath but it was in memory of everyone.

the Cortese dinners were much better. But that was cortese doing it so we must hate the idea and luckily, we now have our club back
-
Just think how much the Labour Party would be cleaning up right now had they put someone normal in charge

Lambert was my favourite player since MLT. SFC Legend IMO

Nope. I would have a back 4 of Cedric, Vest, Yosh/Heodt, Bertrand......with Heodt/Yoshida on the bench
-
The person who posted this also posted on the uglies that the 'trouble maker' is someone who is regarded as a starter in the side currently. which suggest he is not alone!!
-
I believe stephens has proven to be pretty fuking appalling at the aerial part of defending. He also gets caught ball watching a fair bit. This was under 2 very defensive managers...Now, everyone has a clean slate etc but he would easily be my (and guessing many others) 4th choice.
-
not about the last game, it is about his whole career so far, I reckon
-
Pep did not single out redmond for being a good player. It was a poor passive aggressive rant at how we played, which nearly denied them a win.
-
Puel (apparently) has 2 games to save his job... imagine my surprise.....
-
I say it how it is. if we go into games set up like we did yesterday, we will get smashed and hughes will be out of a job soon enough We looked like a Koeman side after we switched formations That does not mean it will work every week or 3 at t he back should be ditched forever....just the players we have, it is blindingly obvious a 433/4231 is better for us. Gets us in the game in midfield and allows more of our better players on the pitch in their more favoured positions
-
Redmond was pretty good The whole team was pretty good after the formation change
-
it was great. He is going to get done for pace at some point, but he is clearly a level up on what we had previously.
-
away to a good side..... McCarthy Cedric Yoshida Vest Bertrand Rom Lemina Armstrong Redmond Mo Ings
-
I think that that once we shifted to 4 at the back. We looked a lot like saints under koeman
-
Was hardly a typical 442 Ings was all over the show
