  1. Ummm do agree with your sarcasm. Gaston had a decent first season, then fell off a cliff.
  2. at best, he will have a purple streak/month in the prem with Boro (should he stay with them and they go up)
  3. I think you need to learn more about football if you think Newcastle are just going to whack 5 up front from the off. They will look to win by doing things they have been getting wrong, right. Win the 2nd ball, put better quality final balls in. Be first to a 50/50, frustrate us, quiet the crowed down etc. We have been in enough relegation fights to know (or should do) how it works
  4. I don't they are going to come here and just plough forward from the off
  5. Be very surprised if it is that one sided.

  7. this result will be at best, ignored as the march towards a united states of europe must not be stopped. the UK will vote to stay in, the government here will throw the kitchen sink at it. Sadly

  10. they both scored 5 goals in their first seasons at the club. Gaston did it in less games. you do talk some real twaddle some times Gaston got 3 assists, Tadic 7 but yeah, nothing at all remotely comparable between the two
  11. the media speculation would be a big distraction. more so than in 2004 where the manager ended up leaving early
  12. in the mean time, the media speculation would be unbearable. It was bad enough when WGS announced he was leaving. this would be a whole new level at the end of the day, the club are not a charity and they will do what is best for the club. What ever that is
  13. does that now mean hitler was not a christian?
  14. I think it is to do with the fuss labour were in when Milliband's dad was called into question. Also, how the biggest Labour Lords are and have 'avoided' tax even the great Tony Benn 'settled' his affairs before he died so his kids got out of paying inheritance tax (and fair play to him) that and this news about the PMs dad has been floating around for a while. Despite jezza's claim to usher in a new era of politics. Seems a bit more of the same
  15. all true. However, this is silly season and they are almost, if not, already in the must win territory of games
  16. some parts outside of glasgow are stunning
  17. Of course I would. But I have and never would have vowed to bring in a new era of politics. Unless, John from Kent asked him to do this. Jezza has now joined the rest of them in the "gutter" when it comes to the political game They are all at it. There is no right or left wing. They are all at it, this tax avoidance lark
  18. So much for Corbyn of bringing in a new era politics He has been all over the score board for this one Also, questions now being asked about the company that owns the guardian and also, money tied to the UNITE Union with regards to tax etc
  19. There are plenty of incidents in a premier league weekend that would be immediately overturned if there was a video ref
  20. This is why not a great deal will happen to anyone who matters, in the UK
  21. I think he will. The premier league is clearly the place to be. he is not going to get the dutch job for a couple of years at the earliest. Doubt united will want him, Arsenal probably not. I doubt he is on the Barcelona radar...so where does he go? This league next year is going to be very interesting. Some absolute top class managers over here and huge rise in TV money. to that end, I think he will sign....maybe a 2 year extension (and a nice pay rise, obviously) With all that in mind, should he not sign, the media scrutiny about it all will be horrible.
  22. Amazing that we never got one of those two. Just sums up the standard of officiating this season. The ref we had is probably the best there is too
  23. he will go. no where near as good as lallana and be lucky to get what we paid for him
  24. he is alright. not good enough to be a regular but a decent option seems thick as shyt though
