The boy has got the footballing part of the game weighed off. So strong on the ball and now seems able to pass it around nicely He certainly is not there to thread the ball forward, not his job at all. He is a rock at the base of the midfield and pretty nifty on the ball and gives it to our players quickly how old is he again? Forster is a good keeper and will be a great keeper for us. He should have taken command of the situation last night for the 2nd goal. but he is a good keeper

It is a fair point. Long has not scored the goals (and missed many chances) required. He does however, work very hard and is direct. Thought he did well last night but he really needs to add the goals to his game. Mane. He needs time out of the team to learn how to play football in this country. Awful performance last night and it was telling when Pelle and Bertrand were openly having a right go at him (a few times) Gardos is just odd. But Yoshida has done nothing wrong really so in a way, good to have competition. Trouble is, we have no idea if he is any competition!!! Is he a good'un or another Forren. We have no idea. But Yoshida is a very able squad player and should be signed up IMO Forster. Good keeper. Brilliant at arsenal and for the start of the season (saved more shots at him than anyone else in the league) but the last 3 out of 4 games, he has not covered himself in any glory. Completely rooted to his line for their 2nd last night People kept harping on about how great our recruitment was/is. But is it? Is it really better than most of the league????? Probably not

will also add, the roadworks in Southampton and just off it (M3) are utterly horrific. 4 lane motorway quickly going down to 1 lane I wanted to go up london Rd and then down lodge rd to get to the M27. Oh no road works and sheer weight of traffic take me to a 1 lane M3

Forster should have dealt with the 2nd goal. very poor on that front
