http://www.vi.nl/nieuws/southampton-en-sevilla-melden-zich-voor-tadic.htm The well respected Voetbal International also believe we want Tadic, but face competition from Sevilla, who want him as a replacement for Rakitic. Howver Sevilla won't meet the 12 million Euro valuation. At least that is what I gathered from this google translation
-
So what about with sales?
-
Just got sent off
-
Hopefully potential replacements are already being sounded out so if/when deals go through the process of bringing in said replacements is quite quick. Last summer, Spurs had already spent pretty much all the Bale money before they finally accepted Real's offer.

A promosing player as an Under 21 who simply didn't kick on. Was on loan at Sevilla last season but was a bit part player.
-
Sounds a bit definite. Have the club already got a new striker lined up? Pelle?
-
lol what a way to use the third post of the day
-
He won't last long, Cellino loves sacking managers. 37 managers in the 22 years he owned Cagliari

Someone in the Koeman Appointed thread posted this opinion from a dutch football fan about Koeman. Gives the impression that he is quite flexible re: formation and tactics.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2659381/Ronald-Koeman-faces-fight-Adam-Lallana-Luke-Shaw-Southampton.html Alfred Finnbogason on saints radar in addition to Pelle according to this article.
-
To be fair, hitting double figures in terms of goals from CM two seasons in a row is pretty good and according to Whoscored he was the 5th best player in the league (Pelle was the number 1) http://www.whoscored.com/Regions/155/Tournaments/13/Seasons/3851/Stages/7790/PlayerStatistics/Netherlands-Eredivisie-2013-2014 Obviously stats can end up being pretty meaningless and the Eredivisie is not the best, Koeman will know him well and we should trust that he knows enough about the players from his old club to know which ones can do a job here. Personally I'd be looking at younger players than Pelle and Immers, but the new manager wanting to bring in the two top scorers from his old club is no surprise.
-
Indeed, signing 28/29 year olds who have only shown they can do it in Holland would be a risk. If they fail we are either stuck with them or have to get rid at a loss. Same reason I wouldn't take Pelle either.
-
Rooney wide left, Sterling in the no 10 position apparently.
-
Paper round?
-
I would like to see him get De Vrij if he wants to poach some of his old players http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/feyenoords-de-vrij-scored-in-his-world-cup-debut-lazio/ According to Di Marzio, Feyenoord only want 9m euros for him.

I remember when "Sky Sources" understood we were about to appoint Paul Hart as manager a few years ago...
-
It's Talksport, they have Alex Crook on when they want the inside scoop. Just think about that for a second.

Would depend on what the sticking point was really (if it is true). Edit: Ranieri second favourite across the board now, as low as 2/1 with one bookie
-
Looks like your tenner has seen The Tinkerman shorten to 5/1 (from 16 yesterday) with Skybet, though he hasn't come in with any other bookmaker. Also, Neil Lennon has dropped to 4/1 with Ladbrookes he was 20/1 or something a few hours ago.

Reading between the lines here, but could Guan's source being unwilling to even hint re: the new manager suggest Koeman is not as big a favourite for the job as some (myself included) believe him to be? Right now it is Koeman's name that is most prominently linked with the job, plus his agent has publicly stated he would be interested. Seems like there is little to gain from keeping quiet over a name that is already out there.

Thanks for the info, the remarks about sorting it before national positions become vacant is interesting. I take it you mean before a load of managers either quit or get the sack after the WC.
