Fonte for me! Strange how Liverpool bought the CB that was in the limelight last season and we've still got the best defence in the league whilst Lovren's fallen apart. I certainly didn't predict that in the summer! Fonte continually ups his game when required. Perfect choice for captain.

I see the official statement says 'education facilities, as well as a treatment room, sports laboratory and additional gym facilities'... is this all just extra facilities or is some of this missing in the current build?

Markus saved our club. Sure, as Hypo and CB Fry point out, we almost certainly would have been bought by somebody else, but I don't think it's too outlandish to say that Markus is the best person that could have bought it. Who else has recently bought football clubs? Off the top of my head, Mike Ashley, Vincent Tan, Mohamed Al-Fayed, Portsmouth Supporter's Trust, Daniel Levy (not really that recent, but you get the point). Would any of those brought us anywhere near to where we are today? No. We'd be languishing in League One still, if not League Two. Even if you disagree with my point as Hypo and CB Fry doubtlessly will, surely you agree that this is a fitting tribute to Markus.

I feel so sorry for Rickie. He is a genuine Southampton legend, and as much as we love him, we all know how good he was - good enough for us and a fair number of teams in the Premier League, but not a 'title-challenging' striker. Even whilst he was with us he was becoming more of a creative attacking midfielder; the fact that Rodgers has listened to the media and England and decided that he's a target man to come on with 10 minutes to go to grab a goal is sad to see. I would be over the moon to see him back with us before the end of his career, even if he only gets the odd cup game.

Worth pointing out that he only got one result correct last week, never mind the scores. The table at the bottom also shows that bizarrely he really likes Stoke and really dislikes West Ham, and true to form, he's predicted Stoke winning that game 2-1. I don't think we need to worry about his predictions much.

We're away, so I think we can only realistically expect 0-5 or 0-6, max. Winning these next three games would be v. nice, would put us on 28 points before our nasty December run in.

Would settle for 0-7. Reckon Morgan could grab another goal, he's certainly been having enough attempts to warrant one.
