Adam Lallana nominated for PFA Pplayer of the year
Pastor Patrón replied to Ewell's topic in The Saints
Amazing achievement when you look at the names alongside him. Things like that and getting England call ups will all help towards keeping hold of our best players. -
DM: Mauricio Pochettino has failed this season
Pastor Patrón replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Saints
Even mates who support other clubs were saying at the time that I must be ****ed off at how he chucked away such a good chance. I like Poch and hope he stays, but he clearly f#cked up monumentally in the cup. -
How many do you think will be sold if any?
Pastor Patrón replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
Pretty much this, and I'm 50/50 on whether he'll stay or not atm. I think if he stays we'll see Osvaldo playing for us again next year, if only because we'll have trouble shifting him and probably don't have the funds to sign two decent strikers. I think if he stays we'll sell Ramirez and possibly Clyne and some deadwood like Hooiveld and Guly. If he goes I think Schneiderlin, Osvaldo, Ramirez and Shaw will be off, I think Lallana will spend his whole career here. -
Niemi Chambers - Lovren - Svensson - Shaw Cork - Schneiderlin Le Tiss lambert Rodriguez Beattie Not sure it'd work as a team but meh

Who are they going to cross to anyway? Lambert's generally too deep to be on the end of crosses and we don't exactly have any other aerial threat.
-
Really hope the board pull their finger out with regards to Pochettino and the future of the club now, this "lets just wait until the summer" is complete ******** since we have nothing to play for anyway. Get it sorted out in the next two weeks to stop the players getting restless and put a positive mood in the club going into summer. The uncertainty around the club won't be having a positive effect on the players and they seem to be getting increasingly vocal about it.
-
We had Gazzaniga in goal, and absolutely no attacking options on the bench, or to be honest on the pitch. Blindingly obvious we need a keeper and two strikers in the summer. Oh and sell Ramirez too, I really try to like him but even at his best he just isn't all that good.

The fast food industry's a cut through world. You don't want to undercut yourself but at the same time you've gotta be carfeul of overpricing yourself and ending up at Chicken Land

First thing I do when I'm negotiating wages with a job is pretend I've got lots of interest elsewhere.

It's a bit billy big ******** of him considering he can't even get in the French team, he needs to sit his ass down and stay in check.

QPR signed Cesar, Casillas is get-able.
-
Ter Stegen please, not like Barca can sign him now. If not, Casillas.

Saints set up web page to leave messages for Jay Rodriguez

I'm sure he may well be upset, but it's pretty much the definition of a first world problem isn't it. I'm quite sure Sam Gallagher has had a slightly worse time recently. -

It must be a devastating situation sitting around playing ps4 for 6months whilst getting paid 40k a week. I hope it doesn't mentally destroy him. -
CONFIRMED: Rodriguez ruptures ACL - out for SIX months
Pastor Patrón replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Not trying to play the blame game but aren't these often caused by over use? I'm pretty sure that's what caused proper Ronaldo so many problems wasn't it? One of his acl injuries he just jumped for a corner then landed normally and it snapped. -
That's kinda cool, assume he did the whole interview in English then?
-
Top post bro, thanks for taking part.

A tank at defending, abysmal when he then gets the ball. The same as I think of him now. He'd be a handy player to keep hold of if he wanted to be here so we could use him, but I don't believe he does and we can't afford to have players of that kind of value not playing.
-
Happy players are rarely consistently injured. Do you think it's just a coincidence that our three record signings, all of whom didn't really want to come here, have been injured for the majority of the season?
-
Really hope we offload Osvaldo, Ramirez and Wanyama in the summer and use the money more productively. We can't afford to have £40mill of players sat around doing nothing when our squad is so paper thin.

What, because it hurts? It didn't look that bad, he just looked like he overstretched and tweaked something
