  1. Is 6 assists and 9 goals really all that irreplaceable on the pitch, and that's already an improvement on last season? I understand the whole him being the image of the club off the pitch, but does he really produce more then players like Michu, Coutinho etc? In terms of importance on the pitch I'd say Jay Rod is arguably more important.
  2. Who would you be most annoyed about selling? Number one would be Shaw for me, mostly because it would reassert our status as a feeder club and it ****es me off seeing our academy players playing for top teams. Mostly an ego thing, I'd be absolutely fuming tbh. Number two Schneiderlin. Simply because he's the best player of the three imo and its nice having our DM completely locked down player wise. Thirdly, Lallana. He's obviously class but AM's aren't generally that hard to replace, Gaston could be a better player by the time he's his age, and he seems to go missing for chunks of the season. He's never quite felt like an academy player to me either.
  3. Well yeah but then our two record signings have been garbage, and how about three star players, who's ever improved from that?
  4. And Spurs have of course gone from strength to strength this season
  5. A pair of ck boxer briefs and a few sprays of creed aventus. I wore it well
  6. Why should the club be pressured by the media into rushing contract negotiations? The manager and club have both said they're comfortable waiting until the summer and we don't appear to ever have pandered to the media
  7. KFC bro, and don't skimp on the salt sachets.
  8. I'm not against music being played but the stadiums speakers are garbo status and the music is trash. No one's trying to hear some Ocean FM cr#p on poverty speakers.
  9. What someone says happened - Oh yeah I bumped into the Saints squad last night, Lambo and the lads were buying Shaw and Lallana a round of Sambuca gaschambers whilst Shaw and Lallana waved around their wallets shouting something about 80k a week. Shaw then got thrown out whilst shouting "dont care I'm leaving this sh#thole anyway". Reality - Briefly saw one or two players out having a drink for Guly's leaving do
  10. I saw him shopping in Nottingham the other day. I stared until it became awkward for both of us.
  11. I stopped reading right about there.
  12. What do you think you sweat, just water? That's why sports drinks are high in salt as well
  13. High carb is exactly what you want and there's nothing wrong with a it of saturated fat, you think he's going to have a heart attack at 30 for eating a Burger King you utter peen. Maybe you should tell usain bolt too 190lbs, sub 10%bf, went out in skinnys last night, come at me fat boy
  14. A high carb meal with lots of salt is exactly what you should eat after working out, do you even lift?
  15. But nah, he's been ok I guess. Get's way more stick then he should but still nice to clear out some of the deadwood.
  16. Yeah ok bro, I'm sure Carlos Vela and David Villa are far more realistic.
  17. Chamberlain also has a 25% sell on clause, so we'd essentially get 25% off. Him and Vela would both cost us between 15 and 20 mill imo. There's absolutely no way it would be a bigger step back for Chamberlain then Vela, we're the future of English football and would jump start his career both at club and international level. Vela's doing fine where he is, Chamberlain isn't and clearly still has a soft spot for the club.
  18. Surely Vela would be no cheaper then Chamberlain, and no easier to sign? I'd rather have Chamberlain back.
  19. For 15/20mill? Nah you're alright, I'd still like Ronaldinho though.
  20. Balottelli £15mill Sturridge £12mill Tevez £7mill Rhodes £20mill.....seems legit In that case lets go HAM and sign El Shaarawy for £30mill
  21. I think strikers are an exception. With the system we play we can't afford to carry a below standard striker just to try and aid their development, especially if we want to be pushing top 6 next season. To improve next season we need top quality in the first 11 and top quality on the bench, Gallagher just isn't close to being that right now. We need Cork and Clyne quality on the bench. Could loan him to Bournemouth maybe so as not to unsettle him, dont know what they're like in the striker department?
  22. How many more goals has Rhodes got to score to be considered worth of a punt? Only just turned 24 and has scored 52 goals in two seasons in the Championship and 87 in three seasons in League One. He may not be the most fashionable player, but that's a ridiculous record.
  23. I'd loan him out to a Championship side next year. He's not good enough to be anywhere near a top half premiership first 11 atm, especially in a team that only plays one striker. If he scores 15/20+ goals in the Championship by all means bring him back and give him another chance, but he seems about on a par with someone like Dexter Blackstock atm
  24. I'd say he just about qualifies as a good signing. Missed way too many games injured and is dreadful in possession but the team does seem to function far better with him in it and at 22 you can allow the odd mistake.
  25. We've not conceded a single goal since Wanyama's returned to the team. Pretty impressive considering they were some half decent teams.
