Won the Russian league twice with Zenit (which I could probably manage to do tbf) and been naff in the CL. So to answer your question - sort of/debatedly been successful
Zlatan to United to be announced soon - €17m salary for a one year deal at 35 is pretty bloody good for a penultimate pay day - then go to China til you're 40
Man U are about to sign Eric Bailly (who?) for €40m per Guillem Balague
If a complete unknown is worth €40m imagine what Koeman will be able to do with £100m at Everton....
In fairness I did turn down an offer of 1.5 x my current London salary based in Reading (so at least double when living expenses are taken into account) from a rival company as my prospects where I am are good enough that long term it won't matter and I really like the company I work for
So Leicester might be losing Vardy to Arsenal and Kante to Chelsea (per Tancredi Palmeri on Twitter) - can't imagine Mahrez would hang around for a relegation fight if those two go....
I'd be happy with any of Pellegrini, Benitez, AVB (who's already announced he's leaving Zenit in the summer), de Boer, Gallardo, Cocu, Howe, Tuchel, Fournier or Marcelino

Per transfermarkt
Zaza (24) in Serie A: 5 goals in 664 mins (132.8 mins per goal)
Pelle (30) in Prem: 11 goals in 2,171 mins (197.4 mins per goal)
Lots of sub appearances for Zaza skewed the stats - 9 appearances were 15 mins or less
We got Scousehampton to pony up £20m for Lovren and £25m for Nivea boy - we really should be able to get at least £40m from them for someone who is ACTUALLY GOOD...
I wasn't intentionally being snarky or inferring anything - just joking
Ps I'm an accountant so I have no problem with people getting the most out of their money!
